Baseball/Softball 2013
For beginners to intermediate; designed to introduce, develop, and
advance fundamentals of baseball; while creating love of the game.

Preseason Camp & Coaches Clinic (Camp is mandatory to play in league)
● Purpose:
○ Beginners have the opportunity to learn basics & decide if want to commit to
season.
○ Returning players get to brush up on basics & get advanced instruction.
○ Do not have to be registered to attend.

● Date and Times:
○ Coaches Clinic TBA
○ Player's Camp TBA (tentatively end of Feb to first week of March)

●Notes:
○ Open to all registered or not and is FREE!!!
○ Kids who want to try before committing to season are welcome & can register at preseason camp.

●Season: (Must attend camp)

○ Practices begin week of TBA (tentatively 1st or 2nd week of March)
○ Big Sandy Opening Weekend (games tentatively 3rd week of March)
○ T-ball $TBA
○ Machine & Kid Pitch $TBA (includes preseason camp &
jersey)
○ Registration Deadline TBA (last day of camp).

○ 5-6 yoa or K-1st
○ Practice 1x a week. Local games only TBA

○ Machine

● 10 and under
○ Player pitch

● 12 and under/O Zone
○ Player pitch and open league/lead offs
○ Practice TBA. Games TBA
● 14 and under
○ Player pitch and open league/lead offs
○ Practice TBA. Games TBA
