Anyone who joined after 2001 needs to be fingerprinted - unless they were fingerprinted for working for the schools in some capacity. i have access to the state website so if you arent sure if someone has been fingerprinted, i just need their name and social security number to look them up. or you can have them call me if they aren't sure.



if you were already an official prior to 2001 you are grandfathered - but you needed to stay active every year. for example, someone started officiating in 1985 and worked until 1999 then decided to give it up for whatever reason. then in 2010, they decide they want to get back into it - they would have to be fingerprinted because there was a break in the service.
