2023 Fan's Star of the Season

We would like to thank the 795 people that took part in the 2023 Fan's Star of the Season vote. Your support of these ten outstanding student-athletes and their tremendous efforts are a great sign of the pride from each of you and your communities. Despite how the voting went, these efforts signified some of the top single-game individual performances from across of the state. While only one will get the recognition as the Fan’s Star of the Season, it should not be taken lightly of the other nine efforts that were recognized amongst the thousands of performances in Maine this season.

Here are the top three selections by your vote.

In third place with 85 votes is Bucksport's Ayden Maguire. He was an editor's selection for his week six performance during the Golden Bucks 48-34 victory over Ellsworth. In that game Ayden completed 12 of 19 passes for 176 yards and threw 3 touchdowns with 3 2-pt passing conversions, he ran 19 times for 202 yards and 3 touchdowns with 3 2-pt rushing conversions, and on defense he had 3 tackles and 1 interception.

In second place with 171 votes is Messalonskee's Tatum Doucette. He was a fan's selection for his week one performance during the Eagles 47-8 victory over Falmouth. In that game Tatum completed 9 of 14 passes for 268 yards and 5 touchdowns while rushing 5 times for 54 yards.

In first place and the 2023 Fan’s Star of the Season with 206 votes is Leavitt's Noah Carpenter. He was an editor's selection for his week five performance during the Hornets 62-32 victory over Lawrence. In that game Noah completed 8 of 13 passes for 210 yards and 2 touchdowns while he ran 8 times for 186 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Noah will join past winners of the Fan's Star of the Season such as Issiah Bachelder of Portland (2016), Lucas Francis of Lisbon (2017), Carter Tolmasoff of Bucksport (2018), Riley Geyer of Cony (2019), Liam Von Oesen of Waterville (2021), and Adam Savage of Skowhegan (2022). We would like to congratulate Noah, Tatum, Ayden, and the other seven student-athletes for their efforts this season.


 

Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 10

We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 10, our final week for 2023.

Our Class A selection is Terrell Edwards of Bonny Eagle. During the Scots 47-6 victory over Noble, Terrell scored four touchdowns as he passed for one and ran for the other three. This is his third selection this season and he joins other alumni such as Cade Dixon(2022), Cam Marcello(2022), Zac Oja(2021), Zach Maturo(2019), Keegan Meredith(2019), Will Whyte(2018), Connor Sirois(2017), Cam Day(2016), Alex Sprague(2016), Zach Brannon(2015), Matt Smith(2014), Zach Dubiel(2013), Tyson Goodale(2011 & 2012), Matt Rollins(2010), and Ryan Nason(2009).

Our Class B selection is Jonah Barstow of Kennebunk. During the Rams 23-22 victory against Westbrook, Jonah ran 23 times for 168 yards and 1 touchdown while also kicking the game-winning field goal. This is his second selection this season and he joins other alumni such as Matt Moore(2021), David York(2021), and Matt Dube(2010).

Our Class C selection is Cohen Galley of Oceanside. During the Mariners 52-14 win over Nokomis, Cohen completed 5 of 11 passes for 109 yards and 2 touchdowns, he ran 11 times for 144 yards and 2 touchdowns, he scored 2 2-point conversions, and on defense he had 4 tackles for losses, 1 sack, and he intercepted a pass. This is his fifth Star of the Week selection as he was picked four times this season and once in 2022. He joins other alumni such as Aiden Sergent(2022), Michael Norton Jr(2017), Brandon DeBrosky(2016), Sam Meklin(2010 & 2012), Derek Miller(2010), and Tyler Fogg(2009).

Our Class D selection is Jadon Richard of Foxcroft Academy. During the Ponies 62-7 victory over Winslow, Jadon caught 3 passes for 62 yards and a touchdown while he defense he had two tackles and intercepted 3 passes. He joins other alumni such as Gage Beaudry(2023), Wyatt Rayfield(2022 & 2023), Caden Crocker(2022), Jadon Richard(2022), Jesse Drury(2021), Austin Seavey(2021), Nick Clawson(2017), Peter Boyer(2013 & 2014), and Ryan Stroud(2009).

Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Andrew Padgett of Greely. During the Rangers 40-22 win over Brunswick, Andrew threw a 55-yard touchdown pass, he ran 15 times for 183 yards and 3 touchdowns, and he scored a 2-point conversion. He joins other alumni such as Matt Pisini(2013 & 2014), Drew Hodge(2012), and Michael Leeman(2010).

Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Will Francis of Orono. During the Red Riots 58-40 win against Stearns, Will caught 9 passes for 212 yards and 4 touchdowns while also scoring a 2-point conversion. He joins other alumni such as Jack Brewer(2022 & 2023), Jackson Coutts(2016), Christian Mowrer(2011 & 2012), Norton Revelle(2012), Cameron Mowrer(2011), Bryce Mehnert(2011), and Dominic Mowrer(2010 & 2011).

Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 9

We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 9.

Our Class A selection is Cordell Jones of Portland. During the Bulldogs 34-6 win against South Portland, Cordell ran 11 times for 133 yards and 3 touchdowns, he caught 2 passes for 36 yards and a touchdown, and he had 4 tackles on defense. He joins other alumni such as Aidan McGowan(2023), Brandon Boyle(2021), Zack Elowitch(2018), Terion Moss(2017), Issiah Bachelder(2015 & 2016), Joe Esposito(2015), Jordan Talbot(2013), and Imadhi Zagon(2009 & 2010).

Our Class B selection is Parker Morin of Cony. During the Rams 53-6 win over Mt. Blue, Parker completed 14 of 24 passes for 271 yards and 5 touchdowns, he ran 5 times for 22 yards, and he intercepted a pass on defense. This is his second selection this season and he joins other alumni such as Dom Napolitano(2022), James Presti(2021), Riley Geyer(2018 & 2019), Jordan Roddy(2016), Taylor Heath(2015), Mitchell Caron(2014), Ben Lucas(2011 & 2012 & 2013), Chandler Shostak(2012), and Luke Duncklee(2010).

Our Class C selection is Mike Foley of Cape Elizabeth. During the Capers 41-6 win against York, Mike ran 7 times for 120 yards and 2 touchdowns while catching 2 passes for 4 yards. Mike joins other alumni such as Nick Laughlin(2021 & 2022), Caden McDuffie(2021), Gannon Stewart(2019), Matt Laughlin(2019), Peyton Weatherbie(2016), Ben Ekadahl(2016), Jack O'Rourke(2015), Noah Wolfinger(2014), Christian Lavallee(2012), and Tom Foden(2009).

Our Class D selection is Matt Quirion of Winslow. During the Black Raiders 55-14 victory against Maine Central Institute, Matt ran 19 times for 238 yards and 2 touchdowns while catching 4 passes for 74 yards and a touchdown. Matt was a Star of the Week in 2021 and he joins other alumni such as Colby Pomeroy(2019), Rob Clark(2019), Ryan Fredette(2017), Nate St. Amand(2015), Dylan Hapworth(2012), Joe Hopkins(2012), Donald Camp(2011), Johnny McCabe(2010), and Cody Souviney(2009).

Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Cam Beal of Brunswick. During the Dragons 48-46 victory at Yarmouth, Cam completed 19 of 24 passes for 178 yards and 2 touchdowns while running 15 times for 84 yards and 3 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Owen Richardson(2019), Mitch Lienert(2019), Will Bessey(2014 & 2015), and Jared Jensen(2012).

Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Jack Brewer of Orono. During the Red Riots 43-14 victory over Houlton, Jack completed 16 of 20 passes for 391 yards and 5 touchdowns while also throwing a two-point conversion pass. This is his second selection this year and he was also selected twice in 2022. He joins other alumni such as Jackson Coutts(2016), Christian Mowrer(2011 & 2012), Norton Revelle(2012), Cameron Mowrer(2011), Bryce Mehnert(2011), and Dominic Mowrer(2010 & 2011).

Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 8

We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 8.

Our Class A selection is Jamier Rose of Noble. During the Knights 41-13 victory over Bangor, Jamier completed 10 of 18 passes for 185 yards and 2 touchdowns, he ran 9 times for 69 yards and 2 touchdowns, and on defense he had two tackles and returned an interception for a touchdown. This is his select selection this season and he joins Anthony Prak(2021) as those selected from Noble.

Our Class B selection is Jonah Barstow of Kennebunk. During the Rams 41-40 win against Marshwood, Jonah had 23 carries for 229 yards and scored 3 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Matt Moore(2021), David York(2021), and Matt Dube(2010).

Our Class C selection is Cohen Carter of Fryeburg Academy. During the Raiders 28-7 win over Wells, Cohen completed 13 of 17 passes for 303 yards while throwing 4 touchdowns and forcing a fumble on defense. He joins other alumni such as Jared Chisari(2016) and Ryan Gullikson(2015).

Our Class D selection for a second consecutive week is Wyatt Rayfield of Foxcroft Academy. During the Ponies 35-14 victory at Winslow, Wyatt completd 7 of 12 passes for 153 yards and threw 2 touchdown passes. In addition to his selection last week, he was also a Star of the Week in 2022. He joins other alumni such as Gage Beaudry(2023), Caden Crocker(2022), Jadon Richard(2022), Jesse Drury(2021), Austin Seavey(2021), Nick Clawson(2017), Peter Boyer(2013 & 2014), and Ryan Stroud(2009).

Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Dawson Harrison of Waterville. During the Purple Panthers 34-22 regional quarterfinal victory against Mountain Valley, Dawson accounted for all 34 of Waterville's points as he ran 33 times for 280 yards, he scored 5 touchdowns, and scored 2 2-point conversions. He was a selected as a player of the week earlier this season in addition to being selected in 2022. He joins other alumni such as Liam Von Oesen(2021), Cam Thomas(2014), Dan Pooler(2013), Brian Bellows(2013), and J.T. Whitten(2010).

Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Ayden Maguire of Bucksport. During the Golden Bucks 60-6 victory over Ellsworth, Ayden completed 12 of 15 passes for 349 yards and 6 touchdowns while rushing 10 times for 89 yards and scoring a touchdown. This is his second selection this year and he joins other alumni such as Josh Miller(2019), Logan Stanley(2019), Jaxon Gross(2019), Luke Wardwell(2018), Carter Tolmasoff(2017 & 2018), Chase Carmichael(2017), Matt Vincent(2016), Jack Cyr(2014), Matthew Stewart(2014), Josh Gray(2012), Mike Cummings(2011), and Vinny Tymoczko(2009).

Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 7

We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 7.

Our Class A selection is Jackson Varney of Bangor. During the Rams 42-26 win over Edward Little, Jackson ran 15 times for 135 yards and 3 touchdowns while intercepting a pass on defense. He joins other alumni such as Max Clark(2021), Joey Morrison(2021), Jonny Lyon(2019), Dane Johnson(2014 & 2015), Logan Lanham(2013), Cody Chapman(2012), Zeb Tuell(2011), Joe Seccareccia(2010), and Lonnie Hackett(2009).

Our Class B selection is Caleb Waters of Massabesic. During the Mustangs 56-32 victory at Biddeford, Caleb had 23 carries for 308 yards and 4 touchdowns while also catching an 18-yard pass. He joins Jake Desrochers(2011) as the previously selected alumni.

Our Class C selection is Noah Carpenter of Leavitt. During the Hornets 35-21 victory in Saco against Thornton Academy, Noah completed 6 of 17 passes for 185 yards (he completed 4 of 6 for 178 yards in the second half) while rushing for 136 yards and 4 touchdowns. This is his sixth Star of the Week selection as he was picked three times this season, twice in 2022, and once in 2021. He joins other alumni such as Hunter Hayes(2021), Wyatt Hathaway(2018 & 2019), Damion Calder(2018), Tim Albert(2017), Levi Craig(2015), Jordan Hersom(2011), and Eric Theiss(2009).

Our Class D selection is Wyatt Rayfield of Foxcroft Academy. During the Ponies 56-6 win over Freeport, Wyatt completed 10 of 15 passes for 168 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was a Star of the Week in 2022 and joins other alumni such as Gage Beaudry(2023), Caden Crocker(2022), Jadon Richard(2022), Jesse Drury(2021), Austin Seavey(2021), Nick Clawson(2017), Peter Boyer(2013 & 2014), and Ryan Stroud(2009).

Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Kaden Paaso of Mountain Valley. During the Falcons 68-8 win over Waterville, Kaden completed a pass for 2 yards with an interception, he ran 16 times for 188 yards and 4 touchdowns, he returned a punt for a touchdown, he scored a 2-point conversion, and on defense he had 6 tackles, one tackle was for a loss, and he intercepted a pass. This is his second Star of the Week this season and he joins other alumni such as Robert Leveillee(2021 & 2022), Kyle Farrer(2014), and Kyle Duguay(2011).

Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Dylan Capano of Sacopee Valley. During the Hawks 44-20 home win against Traip Academy, Dylan ran 5 times for 101 yards and a touchdown, he caught 12 passes for 204 yards and 3 touchdowns, he caught a 2-point conversion pass, and on defense he had 11 tackles, 4 tackles for losses, 2 sacks, he forced a fumble, and he recovered a fumble. He joins other alumni such as Tyler Easterbrooks(2023) and Austin Croteau(2021).

Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 6

We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 6.

Our Class A selection is Marcus Tillery of Windham. During the Eagles 21-3 victory against Scarborough, Marcus had 17 carries for 145 yards and 3 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Will Ledbetter(2021), Desmond Leslie(2016), Griffin Jacobson(2015), Damien Shepard(2012), and Jackson Taylor(2009).

Our Class B selection is Parker Morin of Cony. During the Rams 55-20 victory against Bangor, Parker completed 26 of 35 passes for a state single-game record 480 yards and 5 touchdowns with 1 interception while rushing 3 times for 38 yards. He joins other alumni such as Dom Napolitano(2022), James Presti(2021), Riley Geyer(2018 & 2019), Jordan Roddy(2016), Taylor Heath(2015), Mitchell Caron(2014), Ben Lucas(2011 & 2012 & 2013), Chandler Shostak(2012), and Luke Duncklee(2010).

Our Class D selection is Carter Rivers of Winthrop/Monmouth/Hall-Dale. During the Ramblers 28-8 victory at Poland, Carter ran 24 times for 204 yards and scored 2 touchdowns while making 4 tackles on defense. He joins other alumni such as Robby Feeney(2022), Dominic Trott(2021 & 2022), Logan Baird(2021), Keegan Choate(2017 & 2019), Nate Scott(2016), Alec Brown(2015), and Jared Hanson(2011).

Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Dash Farrell of Mt. Ararat. During the Eagles 64-14 win at Brunswick, Dash ran 21 times for 346 yards and scored 7 touchdowns while also making 18 tackles and getting a sack on defense. He joins other alumni such as Shea Farrell(2021 & 2022), Holden Brannan(2019), and Riley Morin(2018).

Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Ayden Maguire of Bucksport. We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 5.

Our Class A selection is Aidan McGowan of Portland. During the Bulldogs 35-7 win over Windham, Aidan ran 25 times for 159 yards and 4 touchdowns while making 2 tackles on defense. He joins other alumni such as Brandon Boyle(2021), Zack Elowitch(2018), Terion Moss(2017), Issiah Bachelder(2015 & 2016), Joe Esposito(2015), Jordan Talbot(2013), and Imadhi Zagon(2009 & 2010).

Our Class B selection is Gio Staples of Westbrook. During the Blue Blazes 40-14 victory in Gorham, Gio completed 4 of 6 passes for 26 yards and a touchdown while rushing 9 times for 112 yards and 3 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Nemieceo Loureiro(2016), Bailey Sawyer(2016), Maurice Johnson(2014), Collin Joyce(2013), Cale Bollig(2012), Kyle Heath(2012), Manny Vincent(2010), and Matt Payne(2009).

Our Class C selection is Noah Carpenter of Leavitt. During the Hornets 62-32 victory over Lawrence, Noah completed 8 of 13 passes for 210 yards and 2 touchdowns while he ran 8 times for 186 yards and 3 touchdowns. This is his fifth Star of the Week selection as he was picked once earlier this season, twice in 2022, and once in 2021. He joins other alumni such as Hunter Hayes(2021), Wyatt Hathaway(2018 & 2019), Damion Calder(2018), Tim Albert(2017), Levi Craig(2015), Jordan Hersom(2011), and Eric Theiss(2009).

Our Class D selection is Gage Beaudry of Foxcroft Academy. During the Ponies 35-0 victory against Medomak Valley, Gage ran 15 times for 188 yards and scored 3 touchdowns. Our 8 Man Large School Class selection, for a third consecutive week, is Michael McGonagle of Yarmouth. During the Clippers 46-38 victory against Mountain Valley, Michael ran 46 times for 503 yards and 4 touchdowns, he scored 3 2-point conversions, and he made 7 tackles on defense. This is his fifth selection as a Star of the Week as he was also picked twice in 2022. He joins other alumni such as Jack McGrath(2019), John Thoma(2016), Jack Snyder(2015), and Anders Overhaug(2011).

Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Caden Raymond of Stearns. During the Minutemen's 58-42 win at Ellsworth, Caden ran 21 times for 313 yards and 4 touchdowns, he scored a 2-point conversion, and he defense he made 5 tackles with one for a loss and forced a fumble. He joins other alumni such as Caleb Shearer(2022 & 2023), Elliott Shearer(2019), Riley Whitney(2012), and Jared McGreevy(2009 & 2010).

Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 4

We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 4.

Our Class A selection is Jamier Rose of Noble. During the Knights 49-6 victory against Biddeford, Jamier completed 1 of 2 passes for 31 yards while rushing 12 times for 154 yards and 4 touchdowns. He joins Anthony Prak(2021) as those selected from Noble.

Our Class B selection is Chase Burgess of Gardiner. During the Tigers 35-26 win over Edward Little, Chase completed 7 of 14 passes for 89 yards and 3 touchdowns, he ran 18 times for 53 yards and a touchdown, and had 2 tackles on defense. He joins other alumni such as Wyatt Chadwick(2022), Nate Malinowski(2018), Dennis Meehan(2012), and Alonzo Connor(2010 & 2011).

Our Class C selection is Aaron Reed of Medomak Valley. During the Panthers 32-14 win at Hermon, Aaron ran 26 times for 206 yards and 3 touchdowns, he scored on 2 two-point conversions, and he had 8 tackles on defense with a forced fumble and an interception. Aaron is the first player of the week recognized from Medomak Valley.

Our Class D selection is Luke Littlefield of Belfast. During the Lions 41-35 win at Winslow, Luke completed 17 of 25 passes for 280 yards and 4 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Steven Davis(2014), Greg Clark(2013), and Carl Dodge(2012).

Our 8 Man Large School Class selection for a second consecutive week is Michael McGonagle of Yarmouth. During the Clippers 38-20 win over Gray-New Gloucester, Michael ran 39 times for 329 yards and 5 touchdowns while getting 10 tackles and 2 sacks on defense. This is his fourth selection as a Star of the Week (he was selected twice in 2022) and he joins other alumni such as Jack McGrath(2019), John Thoma(2016), Jack Snyder(2015), and Anders Overhaug(2011).

Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Owen Dunn of Maranacook. During the Black Bears 68-12 victory at Sacopee Valley, Owen ran 9 times for 245 yards and 5 touchdowns while getting 6 tackles, 2 tackles for losses, 1 sack, and a blocked punt on defense. He joins other alumni such as Chris Reid(2021), Garit Laliberte(2019), and Caleb Castonguay(2012).

Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 3

We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 3.

Our Class A selection is Brady Truman of Oxford Hills. During the Vikings 39-0 victory against Scarborough, Brady completed 20 of 33 passes for 230 yards and 2 touchdowns, he ran 5 times for 37 yards and a touchdown, and he completed a pass for a two-point conversion. He joins other alumni such as Teigan Pelletier(2022), Eli Soehren(2021 & 2022), Colby VanDecker(2019), Atticus Soehren(2019), Colton Carson(2018), Jacob Spinhirn(2015), and Davis Turner(2014).

Our Class B selection is Izak Young of Gorham. During the Rams 30-27 loss to Marshwood, Izak completed 10 of 21 passes for 188 yards and 3 touchdowns while rushing 21 times for 73 yards and a touchdown. He joins other alumni such as Tyler Rollins(2018 & 2019) and John Day(2009).

Our Class C selection for a second time this season is Cohen Galley of Oceanside. During the Mariners 40-0 victory over Hampden Academy, Coehn completed 6 of 12 passes for 117 yards and a touchdown, he ran 24 times for 151 yards and 4 touchdowns, and he made 2 tackles, one for a loss, on defense. Our Class D selection is Isaac Ramsdell of Poland. During the Knights 16-6 win against Oak Hill, Isaac ran 23 times for 264 yards, scored on 2 two-point conversions, and had an interception on defense. He joins Brady Martin(2022) as the selected Poland alumni.

Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Michael McGonagle of Yarmouth. During the Clippers 52-20 victory against Lake Region, Michael ran 32 times for 310 yards and 4 touchdowns, he returned a kickoff for a touchdown, and on defense he recorded 7 tackles and a sack. He was twice a Star of the Week in 2022 and joins other alumni such as Jack McGrath(2019), John Thoma(2016), Jack Snyder(2015), and Anders Overhaug(2011).

Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Caleb Shearer of Stearns. During the Minutemen's 58-12 win over Mattanawcook Academy, Caleb completed 10 of 15 passes for 330 yards and 4 touchdowns while running 10 times for 38 yards and a touchdown. He was a Star of the Week in 2022 and joins other alumni such as Elliott Shearer(2019), Riley Whitney(2012), and Jared McGreevy(2009 & 2010).

Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 2

We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 2.

Our Class A selection, for a second week, is Terrell Edwards of Bonny Eagle. During the Scots 45-14 win against Noble, Terrell completed 4 of 7 passes for 50 yards and a touchdown while running 21 times for 219 yards and 4 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Cade Dixon(2022), Cam Marcello(2022), Zac Oja(2021), Zach Maturo(2019), Keegan Meredith(2019), Will Whyte(2018), Connor Sirois(2017), Cam Day(2016), Alex Sprague(2016), Zach Brannon(2015), Matt Smith(2014), Zach Dubiel(2013), Tyson Goodale(2011 & 2012), Matt Rollins(2010), and Ryan Nason(2009).

Our Class B selection is Joey Foley of Deering. During the Rams 35-6 victory over Mt. Blue, Joey ran 19 times for 174 yards and 4 touchdowns, he caught 3 passes for 36 yards, and made 5 tackles on defense. He joins other alumni such as Nate Richards(2016), Max Chabot(2014), Kenny Sweet(2012), and Jamie Ross(2009 & 2010).

Our Class C selection is Noah Carpenter of Leavitt. During the Hornets 45-7 victory over Cape Elizabeth, Noah completed all 9 of his passes for 201 yards and 3 touchdowns while rushing for a touchdown. This is his fourth Star of the Week selected as he was selected twice in 2022 and once in 2021. He joins other alumni such as Hunter Hayes(2021), Wyatt Hathaway(2018 & 2019), Damion Calder(2018), Tim Albert(2017), Levi Craig(2015), Jordan Hersom(2011), and Eric Theiss(2009).

Our Class D selection is Drew Shorey of Maine Central Institute. During the Huskies 53-47 overtime loss to Winthrop/Monmouth/Hall-Dale, Drew caught 14 passes for 333 yards and scored 5 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Max Bottenfield(2021), Pedro Matos(2017), Josh Buker(2016), Willie Moss(2015), Greg Vigue(2014 & 2015), Jonathan Santiago(2013), Craig Reazor(2010), and Tyler Rednour(2009).

Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Kaden Paaso of Mountain Valely. During the Falcons 66-16 victory against Lake Region, Kaden ran 10 times for 190 yards and 5 touchdowns while making a tackle on defense. He joins other alumni such as Robert Leveillee(2021 & 2022), Kyle Farrer(2014), and Kyle Duguay(2011).

Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Tyler Easterbrooks of Sacopee Valley. During the Hawks 48-44 victory against Telstar, Tyler completed 22 of 36 passes for 364 yards and 4 touchdowns with 1 interception, he ran 20 times for 132 yards and 3 touchdowns, and he scored on 4 2-point conversions. He joins other alumni such as Austin Croteau(2021).

Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 1

We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 1.

Our Class A selection is Terrell Edwards of Bonny Eagle. During the Scots 50-3 victory over Massabesic, Terrell completed 13 of 15 passes for 154 yards and 2 touchdowns while running 12 times for 73 yards and 3 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Cade Dixon(2022), Cam Marcello(2022), Zac Oja(2021), Zach Maturo(2019), Keegan Meredith(2019), Will Whyte(2018), Connor Sirois(2017), Cam Day(2016), Alex Sprague(2016), Zach Brannon(2015), Matt Smith(2014), Zach Dubiel(2013), Tyson Goodale(2011 & 2012), Matt Rollins(2010), and Ryan Nason(2009).

Our Class B selection is Tatum Doucette of Messalonskee. During the Eagles 47-8 victory at Falmouth, Tatum completed 9 of 14 passes for 268 yards and 5 touchdowns while rushing 5 times for 54 yards. He was a Star of the Week in 2022 and joins other alumni such as Austin Pelletier(2016 & 2017), Jack Bernatchez(2014 & 2015), Jake Dexter(2013), Sam Dexter(2011), Justin Tinsman(2010), and Keenan Knox(2010).

Our Class C selection is Cohen Galley of Oceanside. During the Mariners 50-12 victory over Cape Elizabeth, Cohen completed 12 of 19 passes for 218 yards and 4 touchdowns with 1 interception, he ran 8 times for 81 yards and a touchdown, he scored a 2-point conversion, and on defense he made 5 tackles, one for a loss, and intercepted a pass. He was a Star of the Week in 2022 and joins other alumni such as Aiden Sergent(2022), Michael Norton, Jr(2017), Brandon DeBrosky(2016), Sam Meklin(2010 & 2012), Derek Miller(2010), and Tyler Fogg(2009).

Our Class D selection is Teddy Peters of Freeport. During the Falcons 39-33 victory over Winthrop/Monmouth/Hall-Dale, Teddy threw for over 170 yards and 4 touchdowns with 1 interception. He joins other alumni such as Jordan Knighton(2022), Adam Ulrickson(2019), and Max Doughty(2016).

Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Dawson Harrison of Waterville. During the Purple Panthers 34-0 victory over Spruce Mountain, Dawson ran 20 times for 252 yards and 4 touchdowns, he caught 3 passes for 80 yards and a touchdown, he scored 2 two-point conversions, and on defense he had 13 tackles and one for a loss. He was a Star of the Week in 2022 and joins other alumni such as Liam Von Oesen(2021), Cam Thomas(2014), Dan Pooler(2013), Brian Bellows(2013), and J.T. Whitten(2010).

Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Jack Brewer of Orono. During the Red Riots 57-6 win against Houlton, Jack completed 11 of 18 passes for 291 yards and 7 touchdowns while scoring on 3 two-point conversions. He was a two-time Star of the Week in 2022 and joins other alumni such as Jackson Coutts(2016), Christian Mowrer(2011 & 2012), Norton Revelle(2012), Cameron Mowrer(2011), Bryce Mehnert(2011), and Dominic Mowrer(2010 & 2011).

The Maine Super Six Stars of the Week
is a weekly recognition which selects the top performing student-athletes from each of the six football classes across the state of Maine.


The selection process consists of using media articles and box score recaps to select the top six individual performances of the week. Only accredited and authorized media sources, or feedback submitted by team/school coaches or administrators, are used in the selection process. Nominees are announced every week of the season up to the tenth week of the season. Our selections will be announced every Tuesday.
