Jaff Decker Honored - #22 retired at Mustang Field
Sunrise Mountain Mustang alum and San Diego Padre Jaff Decker was honored in a pregame ceremony on March 4th, 2009. Jaff was presented with the Gatorade Player of the Year and All American Award. Jaff presented the School with 2 autographed #22 Mustang jerseys. The big finale was the retiring of #22, and the unveiling of Jaff's number in centerfield where he played for 3 years. The Mustangs are proud to have had Jaff as part of this great program. Jaff stuck around and cheered on the Mustangs as the beat Horizon 6-3.
