Winter Running Program

We are excited to announce our Winter Running Program. There will be a Middle School Program, grades 6-8 and a High School Program, grades 9-12. The program is open to Princeton Residents, Cranbury Residents & Non-Residents who attend school in Princeton. The program will run Tuesdays through Fridays from December 8- December 23rd.

Middle School Program takes place at PUMS fields at the Walnut Lane entrance from 3:15-4:30pm. The High School Program takes place at PHS Track at the Guyot Avenue entrance from 3:15-4:30pm. Athletes will engage in a detailed program, tailored to age and skill level and designed to increase fitness levels and joy for the sport of running. Fee is $75.00 for Princeton Residents and $125.00 for Cranbury Residents & Non-Residents who attend school in Princeton. The program will be run within guidelines of the State Dept. of Health as well as with guidance from the Princeton Health Department. 

Important: Athletes should come dressed in layers each day. The following items are MANDATORY: face mask, jacket, long pants, hat, and gloves. Athletes will be sent home if they arrive without these items. 

Princeton Recreation Department will determine whether or not it is too cold to practice on any given day. Practice will be cancelled if the temperature is under 30 degrees. There will be no makeup days for cancelled practices, and fees will not be prorated. If weather is in question, we will provide an update by 2pm that day. 

Skateboard Clinic:

Make up clinic is on Saturday December 12 from 9am-12pm at Hilltop Skate Park. Please bring your health form, skateboard, and helmets are MANDATORY. Any questions email npaulucci@princetonnj.gov
