ANNOUNCING THE FCPRD 2014 FALL RECREATIONAL
BASEBALL & SOFTBALL LEAGUE
Registration Dates: Monday – Friday, July 28 – August 15, 8:30 am – 5 pm in Rec Centers at Central Park, Fowler Park and Old Atlanta Park
Registration will be accepted via fax, mail, in person and online!
Ages: 4 - 17. Child must be 4 years old prior to September 1, 2014 to participate.
Registration fee: $70.00/child for county residents and $84.00/child for non-county residents
Evaluations (if needed): week of August 25
Practices begin: week of September 1
Games begin: week of September 15
Season ends: mid-October
General Info
Each child will be placed in the appropriate age division by FCPRD. Children may only play up one age group with permission from the FCPRD Athletic Staff. Each team will be scheduled to play 8 games. Game days are Monday through Friday (no Saturday or Sunday games). Practices will be scheduled Monday through Saturday prior to games beginning. Some teams may practice on Saturdays after games begin.
Players will sign up for areas, instead of specific parks. For example, players that sign up for the North area may have practices and some games at either Bennett, Central or Coal Mountain Parks. Players will have the opportunity to request a preferred park, but FCPRD does not guarantee that the request will be honored.
