House (Recreational) Soccer

1.     When is registration for the summer season?

~ Registration for our summer season begins mid-January of every year and continues until the end of January. For specific registration dates & times for this year, please visit our home page.

2.     How much does it cost?

~ Fees are based on age. The U8 through U17 divisions cost more because their games involve referees. Referees are paid out of these fees. The U4 – U6 divisions do not have this referee cost. Also, those with a valid (through July 2016) Town Rec ID qualify for a $10 discount on their walk in registration. This discount is not available for online registration.

3.     When does your summer season begin and end?

~ Our coaches for the summer program receive their rosters mid-April and can begin practices after that point. Games for the U4 and U5 divisions will begin mid-May while the U6 through U17 divisions will begin at the end of May. Our summer season ends on the first weekend of August.

4.     Where are the games played?

~ All of our House games are played at the West Seneca Soccer Complex on Seneca St. A map of the fields can be accessed from our Home page.

5.     How do I become a coach?

~ If you would like to be either a head coach or an assistant, please contact Moe Mosher (moemosher@yahoo.com) to register. All of our coaches and assistants must complete a background check before the season begins. All coaches are required to attend a coaching clinic provided by us. New coaches will attend a coaching 101 course. We will be offering an advanced class for experienced coaches who have already completed the Coaching 101 course. These courses are optional for assistant coaches, but all are definitely welcome to attend.

6.     When are the games and practices?

~ The U4 and U5  divisions have (1) game per week.

The U6 through U8 divisions will have 2 sessions per week. These will be a mix of group practices along with games. More information to follow on this.

The U10 through U17 division will have (2) games per week.

Individual team practices are determined by each individual coach. The club highly recommends practices and expects that coaches will hold practice sessions throughout the season.

For a listing of days that your child will play games on, click on the “Days of Play” tab on our Home page.

7.

8.     Can we request a coach or another player to be with our child/ren?

~Yes, you may request a coach or one player for your child to be placed with, but not both. We will try to accommodate your request but, with over 1000 children, requests cannot be guaranteed and no refunds will be given. Due to time constraints, requests cannot be considered for late registrations.
