The North American Football League (NAFL) is an adult amateur minor league football system. It was established to create the highest caliber of football for it's players, coaches, trainers, cheerleaders and referees. Based in New York City with several regional offices located throughout the country, it was established in 1996 and incorporated in 1999. The NAFL enables participants to build skills and talents on a platform that is not provided outside of college or professional sports.
In less than 5 years the NAFL proved itself and is quickly becoming recognized as a viable feeder system for professional football leagues. Licopoli's leadership has also proven to be invaluable to executives and coaches who are currently members of the MLFN Hall of Fame.
The NAFL maintains over 100+ teams in 24 divisions and communication is maintained with it's 5,000+ members on a regular basis. The post season playoff bracket contains a 32 team format. It is a system unlike any other and operates in the same manner as any other large business. The NAFL's goal is to be the Mc Donalds' of minor league football. In its' first year, the NAFL accomplished the primary goal of creating a national playoff structure. The NAFL also gives back to local communities. Local communities benefit from fund-raisers, donations and youth clinics for children at risk.
