Team and Parent Reminders for 2008 Season
The 2008 ARYSL league playing season will begin with opening the weekend set for Saturday, September 6th for Recreation and Select Teams; Select teams can begin tournament play on August 2, 2008. On any given Saturday, half our teams will be visitors to another club, and the other have of our 84 teams will be hosting games on our fields here in Fair Oaks. Always take a large plastic garbage bag to all your games and leave your field perfectly clean, no matter who left trash ahead of you, our fields must be left completely clean at the end of the day or we will lose access to the school and park grounds for practice and games!
PLEASE NOTE:
School restrooms are not open at any of our school practice or game sites. SJUSD policy requires us to hire custodial staff at overtime rates to be there while restrooms are open. At Carnegie and Roberts we have provided porta potties. LeGette will not allow them. DO NOT ASK ANY SCHOOL STAFF TO OPEN RESTROOMS, THEY CAN’T! At Legette new restrooms are open at Miller Park next to the school about 60 Yards from LeGette property. Please accompany your child to and from these park restrooms for their safety and your peace of mind.
There is no on campus parking at LeGette and NEVER PARK IN FRONT OF THE LOCKED GATE AT LEGETTE SCHOOL! There are big fines and towing costs from the fire Department and/or the County Parking Control if caught. The gate is our only emergency access to the fields, so please do not block it!
Please keep your car doors locked and your valuables hidden. It seems every year we have an unfortunate incedent of a car being broken into.
Lastly, remember that our soccer fields are dog, smoke, alcohol and drug free!!
