Well another season is underway! We had a great time at Opening Ceremonies on Saturday and had a huge crowd. I would like to thank all the parents for allowing your sons & daughters to participate in our program this season and would like to also thank all the volunteer managers and coaches for the giving of their time to help teach the players the game of baseball. I would like to thank the Board of Directors for their help as it takes a lot of work to get the program up and running.

The Glen Kirkpatrick Scholarship Tournament was also a big success, and championship night was no exception. The games in all three age groups were very exciting games two of which were determined in the bottom of the 6^th inning. For those of you who were asking about the T-Ball Tournament it will be held at the end of the season. You will hear more about that later.

One big housekeeping item we would like your help with this year is to help us keep our park clean.  The City will keep the trash cans emptied for us, but our league is responsible for cleaning up all trash left on the ground and in the bleachers. So many times our Board of Directors have to stay late to pick-up the trash. So anything you could do as a spectator to help us keep the park clean would be appreciated.

Our Dixie Boys program will be starting up towards the end of March and games will begin sometime in April. So keep an eye on our website for more information on this program.
