Welcome to the start of the Harford North Stars “Gallery of Shooting Stars”! We have started this page to celebrate the individual achievements of our North Star Family. If you have news about your hockey star, coach, manager, etc. please forward that information to Kim Kovacs at Oharan34@aol.com so that we may highlight them on the website.

Mike McIntyre - #37
Harford North Stars Bantam B Travel
Mike McIntyre who was Bantam Travel B Captain has had a few accomplishments this year:
- Finishing his Freshman Year at Patterson High School with a 4.0 all year – all classes, all quarters.
- Named Student of the Month for May for his class
- Was a Co Captain of the JV Lax Team
- Was leading scorer of JV Lax team as an Attack (new position this year).
- Won a partial Scholarship to lax camp this summer from Athletic Dept/School
- Headed to an Educational Trip with some teachers from Bel Air Middle School - Germany/Switzerland/Italy this summer. Mike paid for a portion of this trip.
- Named to the Harford Mavericks Summer Club Lax Tournament Team

Saxon O’Connell - # 38
Harford North Stars Mite B Travel Team
Saxon and his family traveled down to try outs at the Prince William Ice Center in Woodbridge, VA for the Washington All Stars AAA Elite Spring Travel Hockey Team. Saxon made the cut and now has a place on the U9 team! Congratulations Saxon!! The team will have 5-7 practices on Sundays from April thru June and play in AAA tournaments in New Jersey over the spring and summer. The club was set up for players who wanted to extend their hockey into the spring season. Saxon told us he was very proud of his accomplishment and excited to be the only one representing the Harford North Stars at the Washington All Stars….we’re proud of you too Sax!! Great job!!

Madison Nelson - # 11
Harford North Stars Mite B Travel Team
Our Mites are on fire this season!! Maddy tried out for and made the Mason Dixon Selects and made the team. The Select Mites will be traveling to Marlboro, Mass. To play in a AA tournament the weekend of April 24-26, 2009. You may access the website at www.eteamz.com/masondixonselects Congratulations Maddie!! Your North Star Family is very proud of your accomplishment….we look forward to seeing you someday playing for Coach Molly’s alma mater - University of Conn. D-1 Women’s Team !!

Matthew Curtin - # 22
Harford North Stars Peewee Rec. Team
Matthew also tried out for the Mason Dixon Selects and will be playing with Maddie in Marlboro, Mass the weekend of April 24-26 at an A level tournament. Matthew has been with the North Stars for four years now. Awesome job Matt!!! We are so happy for you. Congratulations to you and your family!

Kyle McKibben, Alumni
Harford North Stars Midget U 18 A – 2007-2008 Season
Kyle McKibben played for the North Stars for three seasons. At the end of last season he tried out and made the team for the York Ice Devils U 16 AA. Which was a great accomplishment!! Now he has once again made the Harford North Stars proud by making the Mason Dixon Selects Midget Team. Kyle will joining Maddie and Matthew at the Marlboro, Mass tournament and playing in the AA tournament division. Great job Kyle!

Mite Travel B Team Our sincere heartfelt Congratulations go out to Ed Slusher. Eddie was just appointed as Head Coach for the Towson University Hockey Team. Way to go Ed!!! We knew you were destined for greatness. Just know you can never leave the Harford North Stars!!!
