Questions about weight and age breakdown? Read on!

Player team assignments are determined by weight and age at registration. The "older/lighter" or "special" category extends the eligibility age by one year for light players. League age cut off is 12/31 of that year.

According to KSL rules, all players are weighed in before every game wearing game pants, cleats and game jersey (helmet and shoulder pads are not weighed). Shoes can not be changed once the player is weighed. Coaches can not weigh in their own players. Parents: We need 2 or 3 of your from each team to help with the weigh in. It will count towards your volunteer requirement with HEYA. See your coach or board member to help.

If a player does not meet the weight requirements at weigh in, then they are 'red-shirted' for that game (their jersey is turned inside out and they cannot play in that game).

105 lbs players:
Weigh no more than 125 lbs while wearing full equipment, minus helmet and shoulder pads, 15 minutes before game time. An extra pound of weight allowance is added each week of the Keystone State Football League schedule until the weight reaches a total of 130 lbs. No weight limits are in effect for preseason exhibition games.

May not reach their 15th birthday by Dec. 31 of the calendar year that the season takes place.

90 lbs players:
Weigh no more than 110 lbs while wearing full equipment, minus helmet and shoulder pads, 15 minutes before game time. An extra pound of weight allowance is added each week of the Keystone State Football League schedule until the weight reaches a total of 115 lbs. No weight limits are in effect for preseason exhibition games.

May not reach their 13th birthday by Dec. 31 of the calendar year that the season takes place. The only exception to the age limit is for a 13-year-old "special" player, who can weigh up to 95 pounds at the beginning of the season and 100 pounds after maximum weight increase allowances.

75 lbs players:
