Age Eligibility Chart
We receive several questions each year in regards to the age eligibily of a player. The following is a general explanation that applies to both recreation and the travel programs.
The "U" listed before an age group indicates "under", meaning the player playing in that league or team are under that age at the start of the soccer season. Ages for our programs are based on a child's age as of August 1st of the current year (i.e as of August 1, 2006 for the 2006-2007 season). If a player is not age 4 by August 1 of the current soccer season or if a player is 14 years of age or older, there are no in-house league programs available. An instructional only program is available for players who turn 4 after the August 1 date. Older players may choose to try out for a select travel team in June.
