**ALL GEORGIA HIGH SCHOOL RULES APPLY WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE FOLLOWING:
GENERAL GAME RULES
a. The referees have complete control of the game. Coaches, parents and anybody else are to refrain from heated discussions or arguments with them.
b. A team with less than 11 players present at the start of the game will be considered a forfeit. The game can still be played provided that at least 7 players are capable of playing. A grace period of 15 minutes from the scheduled start time of the game will be allowed for additional players to show up.
c. All games are to start no later than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time.
d. There will be two officials at each game.
e. The field of play will be 80 yards long.
f. The home team is responsible for the chain crew.
g. The mercy rule applies to any games in which there is a 21 pt. margin and the clock will run continuously until the margin is reduced to 14 pts. or less.
h. During the regular season there will be no overtime.
i. Two coaches will be allowed on the field, but must be at least 10 yds. away from player when the ball is snapped.
j. No minium playing time per player.
TIME
a. 7 minute quarters (Clock will be stopped according to Georgia High School Rules)
b. Play Clock--The offense has 45 seconds (from when the ball is set by the referee) to snap the football.
c. 5 minute halftime
OFFENSIVE RULES--Same as Georgia High School Rules
DEFENSIVE RULES
a. Nose guard- The nose guard must be in a 3 or 4 point stance before the ball is snapped.
b. A maximum of 2 players are allowed to blitz at any point during a play.
SPECIAL TEAMS
a. Kickoff
**the ball will be kicked from the 35 yard line.
b. Punt
**There will be no punting in this age group.
**If the offense chooses to put on 4th down the ball will be advanced 30 yds., but will not go beyound the opposing team's 10 yd. line.
c. Extra Points
**Field goal, run or pass from the 3 yd. line - 1 extra point
**Field goal, run or pass from the 5 yd. line - 2 extra points
**In the event of the defense scooping a fumble or getting an interception on an extra point play, the number of points the offense was originally attempting to convert will be awarded to the defense if the ball is returned to teh opposing end zone.
