The girls took home the championship yesterday by mercy running all three teams. We gave up only six hits all day and didn't allow a single run! 16U - SJ Breakers 2009 FAST Nationals Qualifier October 26, 2008  --   The Flames 16U battled nasty weather conditions and stiff competition but persevered and took 2nd place in the SJ Breakers 2009 FAST Nationals Qualifier! This hard fought battled earned us a berth to the 2009 FAST Nationals next summer in Orlando Florida! The girls played five consecutive games, without a break, scoring 28 runs along the way. While we came up on the short end of a rain shortened Championship game, the girls consistently played at a high level all day with outstanding pitching, flawless defense and hot bats.
