It's that time again for one of our most successful postseason fundraisers!
CANNING IS BACK!!!
Canning is a nation wide Pop Warner tradition where all participants dress up in their uniform, look their best, and visit local stores to reach out for community support to our program.
This year's cheer canning dates are:
November 7th & 8th
Friendly Reminders & Helpful Hints:
For this canning weekend your spots are assigned.
If you cannot do your assigned time slot you must switch with someone.
It is your responsibility to switch spots, please do not email us.
Many people have used our website guestbook to work out spot swapping and it has worked quite well!
Our cheerleaders are to dress and present themselves like the champions they are.
Please wear competition uniform with warm up suits.
Hair either all up or half up half down with big white bow.
(You can curl your hair if you like)
White sneakers, no jewelry, minimal make up if any.
The Monroe Wolverines and our participating stores have asked that you do NOT bring siblings, friends, etc to stand with you.
(Big crowds block their doorways and confuse customers as to what our purpose is being there)
Participants should not sit while canning. They should be actively seeking community donations.
Please do not block doorways.
We ask that all chaperones park off to the side, please do not park in front of the store.
For safety reasons, if you are canning at Dunkin Donuts you are not permitted to go up to customers at the drive up Lane.
As a courtesy if you are canning at Lisco’s, please do not block the handicap ramp in front of restaurant.
Because of our schedule.. It is so important to be on time, or even early for your scheduled canning time.
Please remember to represent yourself and our program in a positive way.
We want our community to see the wonderful kids the Monroe Wolverines are lucky enough to have in our program.
