Kinderball Information
Information Sheet
Welcome to the page made just for 3 and 4 year olds! NOW REGISTERING!
Highlights:
* This is a FUNdamentals program for youth age 4 and under.
* This program's focus is teaching younger children the games of baseball and softball in a drills-based setting.
* Kinderball teams are small teams put together from the same geographical area. The children will play with those likely to attend their school when they begin kindergarten.
* Practices are limited to (1) 1-hour practice per week. Most practices are located at local parks, coach's choice.
* Players should provide a helmet and glove. Only approved t-ball bats are allowed.
* Players will receive a team shirt, which they will keep at the end of the season.
Practices:
Coaches will determine the practice day and time for one 1-hour practice per week. Again, that information will not be available until after the teams have been formed. We request all coaches to hold their practices at 6pm.
This program is a blast for beginning players. They will learn many new things about the game in a safe and fun atmosphere. It will also prepare them with good habits before entering the Shetland program at age 5.
**We are accepting applications for coaches at this time. It is a great joy and rewarding experience to work with these youngsters. Please consider giving your time to this great and worthy program. You will not regret it!
