Included in tournament
1. Officials from NPMYAC will be present at all times during tournament
2. Two game balls for every placement game and three for championship game
3. Four Murphy sportsmanship medals will be given out to two players from each team by the opposing manager at the completion of each game
4. Large team trophy for championship team and runner up team
5. Trophies for each player in the championship game.
6. Teams will play 2 games to place between possibly Friday and Saturday
7. All teams will play a minimum of 3 games
8. All home teams during placement games will be decided with a coin toss. Home teams during the playoffs will be determined by team records
9. All games will take place at our Sipp Ave. complex
10. Fields will be lined everyday and re-groomed after every game.
11. Certified Umpires for all games
12. One umpire for placing, one umpire for 8U championship game and two umpires for 9U and 10U championship games
General Rules
Good sportsmanship will be exhibited at all times by all persons. It is a high priority for the NPMYAC organization to provide an appropriate atmosphere for all of our young players. Sportsmanship rules are in place to uphold this priority. As such, any team or organization failing to cooperate and adhere to these rules and regulations may, at the discretion of the tournament director, be expelled from the tournament
1. Team managers are responsible for their players, coaches and fans and shall maintain an atmosphere of good sportsmanship.
2. Officials are not to be berated and judgment calls are not to be questioned. Only officials may call time out; all others must request time out. In the event parents, relatives and friends of a player interfere with officials or the game, the player will be benched for violation of this rule.
3. If a question arises pertaining to a rule interpretation, the team manager, and only the team manager, shall have a discussion with an official and the discussion shall be carried on calmly.
4. Alcoholic beverages, foul language, abusive language or gestures are strictly prohibited. This includes players, coaches or fans.
5. Throwing of equipment may result in ejection from the game.
6. Field areas should be kept clean and free of litter. Equipment should be kept in the dugout or away from the playing area.
7. Only team personnel are allowed on the field or in the dugouts. All other persons should be in the appropriate spectator areas.
8. Smoking or tobacco products, pets and bbq's are prohibited in the complex
NJBL rules apply for all age groups with the following amendments
8U Rules
1. Infield fly not in effect
2. No dropped 3rd strike
3. Stealing when ball crosses home plate
4. 4 outfielders
5. 2.25 bats BPF 1.5
6. No stealing home plate
7. 60’ bases and 42’ pitching mound
8. 5 runs an inning, unlimited 6th inning
9. Two mound visits per game. After the second visit, any additional visit results in the removal of the pitcher
9U Rules

Pitching Rules
1. No limits to number of innings a player can pitch, but cannot exceed 75 pitches.
2. Players may not pitch in consecutive games. Pitching order will be reset for the playoffs and championship game.
3. Once pitcher is pulled, the player can re-enter at another position (no pitching for that game)
4. Universal batting order will be used
Roster/Age Rules
1. All teams must have a copy of insurance and team roster on the first day
2. Teams must be made up of at least 12 players, but no more than 16 players
3. All players must have birth certificates on hand. Copies held by managers
4. All players birthdates as of May 1st
