2017 UW Platteville Pioneer Basketball Camp

If you have not already done so, it's not too late to sign up for the 2017 Pioneer Basketball Camps. Our camps guarantee an exciting and fun-filled experience. The camps provide a complete, in-depth basketball experience emphasizing fundamentals in order to allow the camper to reach their full potential. In addition, our camps allow participants to receive great instruction from the Platteville Men’s Basketball coaches and players.

ADVANCED INSTRUCTION CAMP: JUNE 9
A high-intensity college environment one day camp. Campers will receive one-on-one coaching from the Pioneer staff, including advanced game strategy, game-like situation breakdowns, competitive games and contests, teamwork and fitness training. All campers will receive lunch.
 
PIONEER BASKETBALL TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND: JUNE 9-10
This one or two day (option) team camp is open to boys Junior Varsity and Varsity teams. The format will be set so each team is guaranteed 3 pool play games with the top teams advancing to the championship round games.  Games will be played in Williams Fieldhouse and on Bo Ryan Court.  Junior Varsity and Varsity teams will play in separate brackets.  Players are allowed to play up a grade level but not down.  For more information or to register a team please reply to this email.
  
BOYS BOARDING/COMMUTER CAMP:  JUNE 12-14
The individual camp is for students entering grades three through twelve next fall and is designed to develop the total basketball player. Campers receive detailed instruction about ball handling, passing, dribbling, footwork, defense and rebounding. Each camper participates in league games as well as a variety of individual competitions. For young boys there is no better way to enjoy vacation than to shoot some hoops on the University of Wisconsin-Platteville campus and learn from the Pioneers.
  
COED PIONEER BASKETBALL SKILLS WEEK: JUNE 26-28
The day camp is open to boys and girls entering grades one through eight next fall. The camp focuses on fundamentals of the game and is designed to excite young boys and girls about the game of basketball. Campers will be divided into groups based on age and ability. There will be games and daily fun competitions.
