Director of Event Planning

This person will be responsible to assemble a team of volunteers to plan and coordinate the season opener and closing events.  Coordinate task lists, agenda, timelines, and schedules of events to take place months before, leading up to and during the actual event.  The Event Team will plan a theme through the use of entertainment, activities, refreshments, that will enhance the kids experience and create a lasting memory of there participation in the Galloway United Community Soccer League.  The Event plan, expenditures, and budget will be proposed to the GUCS exec board for approval.  Coordinates the set up and break down of weekly concessions and ensures integrity of money handling.

 

Event Planning/Concessions Team

Energetic person to work with the Director of Planning to assist with the creation, planning, and execution of the event.  Assists with weekly set up and breakdown of concessions.

 

 

 

Equipment Manager

Dedicated individual to ensure proper inventory, distribution, collection and storage of equipment from season to season.  Keeps accurate record of equipment issued and returned by specific coaches.  Proposes specific pars of equipment needed at the end of each season to ensure every team is equip at the start of the new season.  Meets with GUCS exec board for equipment approval and gives recommendations to Director of purchasing to place the order allowing time before the season opener.

 

Asst Equipment Manager

Assists with maintaining, distributing, collecting, GUCS equipment form season to season.

 

 

Director of Purchasing

Researches the best possible prices on equipment, clothing, uniforms, etc and places accurate ordering and arranges for proper payment of items based on the approved budget.  Works closing with the Treasurer to set up vendor accounts for quick easy online payments.

 

 

Field Maintenance Coordinator

Responsible to assemble a team of volunteers to set up the fields each season based on the field layout diagram to be handed out by the GUCS exec board.  This dedicated individual will ensure proper field set up kits are ready, quantity of paint and paint machines is sufficient to complete job form season to season.  Field Maintenance team will ensure all fields are properly lined and highly visible for each game.  Sets up a weekly rotation and maintenance schedule.

 

Field Maintenance Team

Assists with initial set up of fields and assists with a weekly rotation to ensure the quality of highly visible lines on the playing fields.

 

 

Scheduling Coordinator

Sets up assigned practice field schedule based on availability.  Communicates to the coaches and assigns field space based on requests and availability.   Sets up Game schedule each season using ManagerYourLeague program.  Communicates with Director of Referees to ensure all changes, adjustments, cancellations are accounted for.
