3/5/12 HCW Board Meeting Minutes:
Attendees: Todd Deltufo, Brad Howell, Brian Dykstra, David Ciotta, Mark Saylor, Victor Frazier, Jeff Daniels, Larry (Marriots Ridge), Toni Conti, Ron Fletcher, Sharon Miller, John Nogle, Jean Shea, Rob Kalishman, and Jennie Ricker

1. Weight Loss- Policy remains the same. Wrestlers can not move down a weight class without the approval of the HCW Commissioner, which approval will not be unreasonably withheld.

2. Rec. Good News
a. End of year tournament
b. Ropes at duals and tournaments
c. Badges - but coaches have to wear them to be effective
d. North Laurel facility
e. Won Mid Maryland tournament

3. Rec. Bad
a. Mat Movement - need more volunteers
b. Officials - bad officiating; we will examine options for next year (maybe send out for Bid)
c. Wilde Lake and Warhawks - not commiting to the schedule (taking their teams to other events on the same day as a HCW scheduled event)

4. Schedule
a. Try to get more teams outside of HCW in the round robin tourneys. Coaches woul prefer to 2 round robins tourneys next year.
b. Coaches must commit to the schedule and only go to open envents on days HCW doesn't have an event scheduled.
c. Vote to cancel All-star tournament in favor of Emerging duals is YES
d. Change Schedule to accomodate MSWA vote YES

5. Officers- Reviewed all Job Descriptions
Nominations, we will vote these officers in next month:
a. Preident- Todd Deltufo
b. VP Rec and HCW Commissioner - Brian Dykstra
c. VP Travel- Bobby Farace
d. Secretary- Sharon Miller
e. Treasurer- Mark Saylor

6. Coaches
a. Reservoir: Saylor & Spillman
b. Wilde lake: TBD
c. Howard: Jef Daniels
d. River Hill: Ton Conti
e. Marriots Ridge: Mar Casera
f. Oakland Mills: Vinc Thomas

7 Finance
a. After all expenses, should end the season with approximately $11,000.
b. Need to Purchase Clocks (two or three clocks, approximate cost is $800 each) and Mat Guard (recommended by B. Howell)
c. Gas card to George Stott Voted YES
