Mission Statement

"It is the mission of the Kennesaw Girls Softball Association program to serve young players, and their families and the Kennesaw City community at large by providing fun, safe and enjoyable youth sports experiences by recognizing each player's physical and emotional well-being, by teaching skills and development, by treating them with respect and dignity, by encouraging postive parent involvement and by enriching young lives with meaningful recreation and socialization."


The focus of KGSA is to provide a positive softball environment. Teaching sportsmanship, winning and losing with pride, and teamwork are stressed. The players develop a love of the game by learning the rules and developing skills. All of the players in this organization are valued, regardless of skill level. Overall the goal is for the girls to have fun.

Softball is more then a passive recreational activity for girls at KGSA; it is now a passion for parents and coaches. Girls from all areas of the county have the opportunity to develop lasting friendships with fellow athletes.

The KGSA league has earned an outstanding reputation throughout Cobb County and even in the Southeast. The main objective of the association to provide a quality program for any girl that desires to participate. Such a commitment to excellence is paramount for both those on All Stars and those playing at the recreational level.
