A 1979 Walt Whitman graduate, Bowman was one of the few Vikings to be drafted by a professional club out of high school. Signing with the Orioles after graduation, Bowman played for several years in the organization, rising as high as double A. After his release, Bruss returned to school, graduating third in his engineering class at Rutgers. Bowman, who set several high school records in his time, currently lives in Arizona, where he serves as vice president of a software company that he co-founded, QCSI.

Drew had an illustreous career at Whitman. Though he played for the school 20 years go, his .456 batting average remains the sixth best all time. After Whitman Drew, played baseball at the Universtiy of Maryland. He had a solid career for the Terps. Drew currently lives in Delaware.

Matt Moore holds almost all of the Viking pitching records, including the mark for most wins, 8, which he managed to achieve twice. In his 1991 season, Matt pitched 66 innings and managed to strike out 100 batters and gave up only 31 hits. His ERA that year, 1.38, is the third best in Whitman history. A first team All Met selection as a senior, Matt went on to pitch for Virgina.

A three-year Whitman starter at shortstop and third base, Todd was Honorable Mention All-Met in his senior year. He went on to a fantastic baseball career at the Naval Academy, where he was a four-year letterman at third base. Todd's name is littered all over the Navy career record book. He still holds his place amoung all time Navy leaders in Games played, at bats, runs scored, base hits, doubles, run batted in, and total bases. After graduation from the academy, Todd entered the Navy to become a pilot. Todd currently is a teacher and the Jv baseball coach at Georgetown Prep High School.

Tony Korson graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in the spring of 2005 as the school's all-time leader in appearances. In his junior season at FGCU, Tony led the team with a meager 1.73 in ERA. In the summer of 2004, Tony played for the Northwood's League Champions Madison Mallards. He led the team with a 0.48 ERA. Tony was a Washington Post All-Met selection in 2001 as a pitcher/outfielder. In his senior season at Walt Whitman High School (2001), Tony led the Vikings to a 13-3 record. He was 6-0 on the hill and batted .417 with 5 home runs, 21 RBI's, and slugged .896. He currently helps run KOA Sports in Bethesda.

Paisley was the only Walt Whitman player with more than 50 at-bats to hit better than .500 in a season through 2001. He remains one of the Whitman record for best average in a single season with a .509 average in 2001. He had 29 hits that season, the second highest total in school history at that time. Paisley went on to be a three-year starter at Trinity College. During his junior season in 2005, he helped lead Trinity to the D3 College Baseball World Series.

A leadoff hitter with power, Josh Feldman set the Whitman record for runs scored with 24 in 2004. Josh graduated from St. Mary's College in the Spring of 2008, where he was a four-year starter for the Seahawks.

Marty Hauck, a pitcher for Whitman during the 2007 season, completed a four year stint as a pitcher for Juniata college in 2011. Marty appeared in 31 games most in relief during his four years. He earned 2 wins and 1 save.

Gabe was a three-year starter at Whitman on the mound and a shortstop. One of the most highly touted baseball players to emerge from Whitman, Gabe was ranked as one of the top right-handed pitchers in the county and ranked as the sixth-best prospect in Maryland by perfect game. He graduated from Wake Forest. Gabe had 32 apperances while pitching for the Deacons, all in relief. He is one of the very few whitman baseball players ever to play the the NCAA division 1 level.

Matt Kaler was a three year varsity player at Whitman. He was first team all gazette as a senior in 2008. Matt still holds a few whitman hitting records. He has found a home a Mary Washington. Matt finished his Mary Washington career in 2012. 

Chris was a three year varsity starter at Whitman. Chris played two years at Trinity having appeared in 32 games during those two years. Chris only had 2 errors in the field. He also had 20 career rbi's.

Danny Lee was a three year varsity player at Whitman. Danny was part of three of the winningest teams in Vikings history. He followed a monster 09 year with a strong 2010 season. Danny has transferred to Washington University in St. Louis, where he is now a member of the football team. Danny Spent three years playing football at Washington University in St' Louis.

Sam had a solid two year varsity career at Whitman. Always a kid who worked as hard or harder than anyone else in the program, Sam hopes to continue his baseball career at Oberlin. Sam played three years at Oberlin College. Sam made 13 appearances in the three years. He ended his career with an ERA below 3.00.

Michael was a four year varsity player and holds numerous whitman records. He played one year of football and baseball at Trinity College. Michael was only the third player in whitman school history to be a first team All Met baseball player his senior year. 

Pat came to whitman during his Junior year and had an immediate impact. He was able to play the outfield, shortstop and pitch while at whitman. Pat is going to continue his baseball career at the University of Maryland. Pat had an excellent career at Maryland as he was part of two NCAA teams during his time as a Terp. He continues to work in baseball after his graduation from Maryland.

After a four year varsity career at Whitman, Drew is going to continue his baseball career at Lafayette. Drew played two years at Lafayette.

 

 

 

 

After two excellent seasons of varsity baseball for the Vikings, Max is now a member of the Amherst baseball program. Max just finished his career at Amherst. He played in 126 games over his four years. He ended his career with a .328 batting avg and a .955 fielding percentage. Max was selected as an academic all American after his senior season.

Ben had an excellent baseball career at Whitman high school. He just finished his baseball career at Macalester College baseball. Ben has had an excellent college career. He has played in 136 games his four years. He finished with a .348 career average after hitting .415 his sophomore year. 

Ben made the ABCA second team all D3 Region player after his junior season as an infielder in 2017. He also helped lead his team to their first NCAA D3 college world series appearance in school history.

Ben also made the D3 Baseball third team all region team after his senior season.  He finished his career with back to back all region team seasons.

Max is a freshman member of Allegheny College baseball and football teams. He was an outstanding player for Whitman and hopes to do the same at Allegheny. Max has enjoyed his first two years of baseball and Football at Allegheny. He was injured during the fall of 2016 and missed the 2017 baseball season.

After missing the 2017 spring, Max returned to have his best season for the Gators. He played in 31 games, and had .405 on base percentage. Max finished his career playing in 31 games in 2019. He had career highs in plate appearances, hits, extra base hits, rbi, and slugging. He also went the entire season and did not commit an error. It was a great ending to a baseball career at Allegheny for Max.

After a great four year career at Whitman, Max is now a member of the Bowdoin College baseball team. He is serving as the bullpen catcher this year. Max decided to focus on his degree after the one year bullpen catcher job. 

 

 

 

 

After a four year baseball career at Whitman, Noah is continuing his playing career at the College of Wooster.  Noah saw action in 17 games as a freshman on a highly ranked d3 Wooster team.  He came on strong as a sophomore playing in 21 games. Lost his junior year due to Covid19.  Noah has graduated from Wooster and now is a grad student at Johns Hopkins. Due to covid in 2019, he is able to continue playing this spring for Hopkins.

After a four year varsity career, Jack was a member of the UMBC baseball team for three years. Jack helped lead the VIkings to the first region title in school history in 2019. He also was selected to the senior all star game. 

 

 

 

 

 

Justin was a three year varsity player for the Vikings. He earned second team all met honors as a Junior. He was honorable mention all met as a senior He was selected to first team all division three years in a row, along with all region and senior all star games. He broke several school records during his baseball career, including extra base hits in a season, and career extra base hits. Justin is a member of the baseball team at Penn.

Tyler was a four year varsity starter. He finished his career helping lead the vikings to a region championship. He was first team all division three years in a row, along with earning first team all met honors as a senior. He was also all region and a senior all star. Tyler after spending the Covid 2020 season at WVU, is now playing baseball at Xavier University.

Eli waited very patiently to finally play for the Vikings. Losing his junior year to covid, Eli had a monster summer 2020 and fall of 2020. He was able to use this to earn a spot at Davidson on their baseball team.  He was a dominate bat and glove for the Vikings in the short 2021 season.
