AHS Cheerleader
GRADING System
GRADES
A. Grade deductions will be made based on these actions, but are not limited to this list:
5 Inappropriate conduct while representing an AHS cheerleader
5 Not showing up to a cheerleading function (unexcused)
3 Showing disrespect or poor attitude to coach or peers
3 Failure to wear all pieces of the correct uniform (top, skirt, socks, shoes, bloomers, & hair accessories)
3 Eating/drinking without permission at a cheerleading function
3 Public displays of affection while in uniform
3 Poor conduct on busses
2 Failure to take care of responsibilities assigned to you by coach
2 Using cell phones during a cheerleading function without permission
2 Excessive talking during practice or a game
2 Repeatedly breaking formation during a game
2 Tardy to practice or an assigned function
2 Profanity
2 Leaving campus for lunch if you are not a senior
1 Leaving before you are dismissed during a cheerleading function
1 Visiting with friends or parents during a cheerleading function without permission
1 Failure to turn in money/paperwork without just cause (per day)
1 Failure to check-in on game day
1 Failure to be in full uniform upon arrival to any cheerleading function
1 Failure to bring supplies to game/event (poms, signs, etc.)
B. One grade point may earned for every hour of community service approved by the coach. Two merits may also be earned by cheering at an extra game.
