We received a note from a parent that would like to let everyone know what a great season their soccer team had and how much their coaches were appreciated!
....to extend a note of gratitude to Barry Rudd, our U10-Girls coach last spring and this Fall. He took the reigns on the spring team, despite his circumstances and limited coaching skills, he nonetheless rallied our team and did his best to keep those little hearts in the game. We finished last season winless, but with plenty of scores throughout the season against teams with far more experience. Out
of a team of 13 girls, our team had only 4 or 5 players with past
experience. Did Barry and his assistant, Jerry Amon, place the weight of the whole team on our experienced girls? NO! They let every single girl play a fair amount of time, giving all of them the chance to learn, gain
experience, compete, and have fun. That is pure class and I'll take that any day over a win.
