    John Howard Society and the Youth Action

    The John Howard Society  and the YMCA has spearheaded the development of localized recreational programs (28 in total) which provides evening recreation for young people aged 8 – 14 years old, throughout the Niagara Region.  Part of the funds to operate the program comes from the John Howard Society of Niagara and the Prevent Challenge Foundation.  The funds are largely used to provide special activities such as baseball camps, outdoor rock climbing and summer camps.
