    Rules For Playoff Seeding
February 19, 2002  --   Seeding For Playoffs In All Divisions Will Be Determined As Follows:

1-Most Playoff Points: 2 points per victory
    2-Fewest Runs Allowed
    3-Most Runs Scored
4-Average Runs Allowed per innings played.
5-Average Runs Scored per innings played.
6-Head To Head Results, if any, betweed tied teams
7-Coin Flip if two teams deadlocked; pick from hat if more than two teams deadlocked.

Higher seeded team is home team throughout the playoffs until the finals at which time a coin flip determines the home team.

To avoid any confusion, all managers will report by email the scores (including the number of innings played) of each Sunday's games to their division directors no later than Monday @ 8:30 p.m. so that the division directors may each compile the standings by playoff points, innings played, runs allowed, and runs scored. The division directors will email the updated standings to Dave Sternlieb by Wednesday @ 8:30 p.m. so they may be posted on the CBC web page.
