Prelim Results

Sorry for the delay. The results will be posted tomorrow 4/24 by midday. The results from the field events is still being input into the system.

Congratulations to all the athletes who participated in the meets. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make the events possible and run smoothly. We would also like to thank Notre Dame, Damien and Serra for hosting our events. We look forward to seeing everyone at the Prelims at Serra on 4/28/13.

Here is the list of schools that have registered for the 2013 track season. If you have not submitted your track team roster to 4ronhill@gmail.com or jderose@ccharities.org please do so ASAP so your athletes will be in the system for the electronic timing. Again, it does not have to be a final roster and you do not need to indicate which events they are participating in. We just need a list of ANY potential athletes that may participate in the meets. The form is on the track website.

Reminder, you are encouraged to come into the CYO office next week, starting Monday 4/15 between the hours of 9am-2pm,  to pay your registration fees and pick up your wrist bands for the 20^th and 21^st.

Here is the roster form we need you to fill out and return for the 2013 CYO Track Season. The form is due back on 3/22/13.Please list ALL potential athletes that may participate in the upcoming track meets. Please follow the data entry instructions below.

2013 Track Roster Form

1.  Open the file. A security warning may appear. "Some active content has been disabled." Click the Options Button. Select "Enable this content." Press OK. Then press the "Enter data" button on the screen this will allow you to enter each athlete in the correct format. After you enter the data for an athlete click the "Enter Data" button again for the next athlete. The data will appear on the Excel document. Any correction you need to make can be done directly on the Excel document.
 
2.  When you have entered all athletes and have verified that the data is correct.  Do a "Save As" and rename the file to the school name  (ex.. "St Philips" )
 
3.  Send the file as an attachment to 4ronhill@gmail.com include in the email school's full name, coach name, coach phone#, and coach email. Please also copy Jamie DeRose with the Excel Document: jderose@ccharities.org

Team Rosters

In an effort to build on the electronic timing done for the Preliminaries and Finals last year, the CYO will institute electronic timing for the Qualifying meets as well this year. To ensure accuracy of participant’s names, gender and level, each school/coach needs to electronically fill out the forthcoming  Excel document and email it back to Jamie DeRose at jderose@ccharities.org by the registration deadline of 3/22/13. Include all potential athletes that may participate in the track meet. The form needs to be filled out exactly as specified. The information will be imported into a database and used for the day of the meets. You do not need to indicate which events the participants will compete in.

The Excel document will need to be filled out exactly as specified. Instructions will be included.

Javelin is an official scored event. Schools may enter three competitors at the “A” & “B” level, ten competitors at the “C” level. The event will count towards the number of events for the athlete.

The Excel document has three tabs for "A", "B" and "C" level athletes.

On Monday, November 12, twenty-six schools sent their cross-country athletes to compete in the CYO Cross Country Championship at Kenneth Hahn Park in Los Angeles.  Over 450 athletes registered to participated in one of the three offered courses for A, B and C divisions.  Team awards in the A, B & C divisions went to schools that entered at least three athletes in each gender division.  For a complete list of how all the athletes performed, please go to our Cross Country page.
