With 10 wrestlers qualifying, 5 wrestlers placing, and 2 State Champions, we showed again the team effort that we have all season long.

2011 Sunrise Regional Champions

GREEN VALLEY WINS REGIONAL TITLE

For the first time in 10 years, the Green Valley wrestling team will be hanging a regional championship banner up in the gym!
It was a total team effort, as the team produced 3 champions, 4 second place finishers, 3 third place finishers, and 2 in fourth place.
We also had several wrestlers that were eliminated one round away from placing! All of our wrestlers got in some good wins, several of them by upsetting the top seeded wrestlers!
Congratulations to the team, the coaches, and all of the parents that have been there with their support for the entire season.
