*** Important Note for families with multiple level players: Elementary and Junior High will practice together and most games are back to back. Junior Varsity and Varsity will practice together and most games are back to back.
Elementary: Grades 5 - 6 Registration fee $150 plus mandatory $80 fundraising per family
This level is for girls in 5th and 6th grades, with a three-day per week commitment. Practices are normally held on Mondays at the Hamburg Fitness Center, and league games on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Practice time is spent on instruction, drills and scrimmages. PLAYTIME IS APPROXIMATELY EQUAL AT THIS LEVEL. Season ends the 3rd weekend of October and an end of season banquet will take place when the high school teams culminate, sometime in November. Parents are required to volunteer in some capacity. There is a $80 mandatory fundraising fee per family, which will be explained at the parent meeting.
Junior High: Grades 6 - 8 Registration fee $175 plus mandatory $80 fundraising per family
This level is for developing players, with a three-day per week commitment. Practices are Mondays at the Hamburg Fitness Center and games are MOSTLY Tuesdays and Thursdays with a few games outside the league with our favorite home-educated competitors. Play time is not equal and will vary according to skill level. However, coaches will strive to give each player some time in every match and according to the level of competition. The season ends the last weekend of October with an end of season banquet sometime in November. Parents are required to volunteer in some capacity and there is a $80 mandatory fundraising fee per family, which will be explained at the parent meeting.
Junior Varsity: Grades 9 - 11 Registration fee $200 plus mandatory $80 fundraising per family
Varsity : Grades 10-12 Registration fee $225 plus mandatory $80 fundraising per family
Note: placements onto JV and Varsity will take place the week prior to start of season. For the most part, JV can be expected to be 9th and 10th and Varsity can be expected to be 11th and 12th. However, 10th can be placed on Varsity dependent on skill set and 11th graders can be placed on JV dependent on skill set.
This is for competitive high school players. Play time is not equal and will vary according to skill level and competition level. The commitment is usually 3-4 times per week. A week-long camp begins the season - this is an additional $40 cost and requires a minimum of 10 players. Practices are mainly at Hamburg Fitness Center and most home games are held at Our Savior Lutheran school in Hartland. Travel to some away games will vary from 30-90 minutes. The teams play 18 games and attend 2-3 tournaments, including the Homeschool State Tournament in Lansing. Travel and accommodations to games and tournaments are not included in the player registration fee. There is an end-of-season banquet. Parents are required to volunteer in some capacity and there is a $80 mandatory fundraising fee per family, which will be explained at the parent meeting held the 1st night of practice.
