Another Hockey playoff has come and gone and its time to declare the real champion!

 

Standings in the pool have been audited and checked and can now be declared official.

 

No tie break was needed to determine the prize money distribution but we did have a couple of ties in the top ten.

 

Jason Flynn the only poolie to have three of four teams in the semi finals won the pool by running away in the conference finals.

 

Mike Kuntz won silver, bronze went to Mort who Charles nosed out John Cho who finished in fourth.

 

The top ten were rounded out by James Connery, Mackenzie Rolling, Kelly Grams, Laura Mason Bill Connery and Ryan Rorabeck.

 

Cheques should be in the mail shortly for the winners and on behalf of the team thanks to all who played.

One way or another the Stanley Cup playoffs will end tomorrow night in Detroit.  Bragging rights to hockey supremacy and poolie supremacy will be decided for another year.

Well we have one of the finalists in place,  Carolina is gone and one amongst us still has all of his teams in place. No prize therefore if you are able to guess who is leading.

Well here we are possibly half way through the divisional finals and only one poolie has three teams still in the mix.  The name will become very apparent when the you look at the standings.  There continues to be much shuffling in the remailing players as they jockey for position heading into the final series.

Well the divisional finals are set.  Only 5 poolies had selected Carolina, but are they close enough to sieze on their good fortune?  If it is any consolation to anyone, NOBODY has 3 teams left amongst  their selections.

Chances are that some of you are now regretting not picking Carolina as much as those who are regretting picking San Jose.
