LAS VEGAS STRIKERS SOCCER ORGANIZATION
The Las Vegas Strikers Soccer Organization is looking for qualified and energetic interns who want to "kick-start" their sports management careers. The objective of these internships is to introduce interns to the marketing, sales, and operations activities of a professionally organized sports team. During the internship, the participant will also develop and use a number of skills required for the management of a professionally organized sports team.
MARKETING, SALES, & OPERATIONS INTERNSHIPS

The Strikers are looking for qualified, energetic individuals interested in gaining valuable experience in the areas of marketing, sales, and operations for the upcoming season.
Promotion of the team in a variety of community environments / Coordination of Media and Public Relations / Assisting and possibly managing game day operations and promotional activities / Creation of sales/marketing materials and publications / Aiding in day-to-day operations of the club / Assisting with travel arrangements and related organizational matters.
Strong communication and organizational skills / Self motivated / Good understanding of sports team environment.
PA ANNOUNCER INTERNSHIP

Sporting Event Announcing, PA Announcer, Public Address Announcer
The Strikers are looking for a qualified, energetic, and charismatic personality to act as the "Master of Ceremonies" at Las Vegas Strikers home events with the objective of creating an entertaining atmosphere focused on "family, friends, and fun." The goal of the internship is to provide the successful candidate the opportunity to gain valuable experience in further developing their knowledge, skills and abilities toward a successful career in public address announcing.
Welcome address and team introductions / Color commentary of key moments in the games (not play-by-play) / Public Service Announcements / Substitution Announcements / Post game wrap-up and upcoming game information, etc.
Experience with sports PA Announcing (preferably in soccer) & music systems / General knowledge of soccer rules / Strong communication and organizational skills / Good understanding of sports team environment.
January to August for most internships; 15-20 hours per week (negotiable). Please view our complete game schedule
All internships are non-paid, with the opportunity to earn compensation through a commission based sales plan. When negotiated with appropriate school authorities, credit can also be earned.
There will be an ongoing informal performance review, as well as formal meetings at mid-point and conclusion of the internship.
