Special Needs Cheer Program
Join Dane County's only Special Needs Cheer Team and the only one in the state of Wisconsin. This program is designed especially for children/adults with special needs or those already participating in a Special Olympics Program. It combines elements from gymnastics, dance, stunting, and cheerleading. Besides providing great physical fitness activities the squad also helps participants with social skills, team bonding, and confidence. This unique squad does numerous performances and competitions throughout the year locally. Mad City Stars promotes athletic excellence and develops leadership, confidence and elite cheer and dance skills.
The team received a standing ovation at their first competition Sept. 2005 at Great America in Gurnee, IL. They have received many more since then. They have won several State and National Championship Titles. We are so proud of them. They are truely an example of what cheerleading should be about.
UNDERSTANDING THE COST -
Any cheerleading program has costs. We pride ourselves on keeping our program costs low. Paying all program costs on time is an important part of continuing the success of our programs. The following is a list of the costs you are responsible for:
Annual Registration Fee - $35
Tuition/Program Fee - FREE for Special Needs Athletes
Female Practice Attire - $35
Male Practice Attire - $25
Cheer Shoes - $25
Uniform - $60
Competition Fee Package - $75
