2009 TEAM USA INFORMATION

Greetings Team USA members and Parents,
Just as a reminder there is an extra training camp this Sunday from 9am to 11am at the new NAFMA headquarters at 4237 Rt 130 South Edgewater Park NJ. If you are not attending than the you will receive the rest of the Team USA supplies at the Worlds on Friday at the team meeting. The final schedule will be emailed next week. The team meeting is on Friday Nov 6 is slated for 5pm. During this time will cover last minute details or changes, distribute team usa welcome gifts to give to the other countries, and also distribute the one free spectator pass to all Team USA. Please do not lose the ticket as you will have to pay for another. Extra Spectator tickets are as follows- General Admission- $10- Vip seating is $20 ( Front row) Seating will be structured as all of the countries will want to have their families sit closer to the competition as well. The VIP seats will be labeled and purchased on a first come first serve basis. All tickets can be purchased the night before or that day. No checks or money orders will be accepted for purchase- cash only.
Clarification- Dinner /Social- The event will be a social on Friday night beginning at 8pm- this is a welcome party social where all of the competitors will have a meet and greet and exchange items and pictures prior to the competition. Beverages and snacks will be provided. There is no extra cost or tickets needed for this event. I strongly urge all Team USA athletes to attend.
Final age groups have been approved by all participating countries and here is the break down-
6 under ( boys and girls combined)
7-8
9-10
11-12
13-14
15-17
18-29
30-39
40 up
ages 7 - 40 up will have boys/girls and men and women seperated. Only 6 under will combine as the number of competitors is low in this group with only one female registered from Canada. If the numbers change than we will divide the 6 under as well.
I am very excited about the age break down and our ability to perform well. I wish everyone the best and strongly urge everyone to bring cameras and camcorders as this is a once in a life-time experience. Thank you for all that you do.
