PARKVILLE BASEBALL PROGRAM
BASEBALL CODES OF CONDUCT
2010 SEASON
The
Parkville Recreation Baseball Association has set goals and during the
year will try to teach the children the importance of sportsmanship,
friendship, respect for the referee and the opposite team as well as
their own team members.
Our goals are to:
• Create an environment in which children and adults can have fun with baseball at all levels of talent and ability
• Teach baseball skills, rules and strategy to our players.
• Model and teach competitiveness with an emphasis on good sportsmanship and appropriate behavior attitude.
• Prepare each player for advancement to the next level of competition
• Promote self-esteem among the players.
We are all very passionate about our children and want the very best for them no matter what the age. Sometimes we as parents forget that this is about the kids and not us.
