Sponsors/Ad Boards
Chair: Dawn Rehwinkel, 643-0630, camp@merrymacscampground.com
Members: contact chair if interested in being on this committee
Description: Contact area business to solicit for Team Sponsors, Ad Boards, and Program Advertising. This has typically been done sending out a letter with an advertising insert. In 2008 we changed so that our ad boards and team sponsor donations run on the calendar year instead of with the season. The program advertising and HS Insert advertising will still go with the season.
Ad Boards - if new ad boards are requested, we will need to receive the artwork, preferably electronically, and provide it to the sign making company. If signs are not renewed from year to year, the non renewed signs will need to be taken down.
Team Sponsors - once the money is received, notify the team's that they have a sponsor and they should include the sponsor names in all their team articles sent to the papers. After team pictures are taken, there should be one 8x10 for the sponsor and a plaque will be made to present to the Business.
Program & HS Insert ads - you will work with the business on getting the ad set up so that it can be put into the Tournament programs. The High School Insert ads, in the past it has worked well to work with a parent from the high school team to help sell and get the ads run.
