For those of you who may be new travel coach or new to the club please note that we assign a different set of teams to line the soccer fields (on a Thursday) and participate in Micro Duty each and every week.
Field Lining is exactly as it sounds. We need to repaint the lines every Thursday night starting at 5:30PM. I will be at the shed at 5:30PM each Thursday to get every team set up. My recommendation is that each coach bring a minimum of 5-6 volunteers with them and be prepared for inclement weather. If we are unable to line the fields on Thursday (because of rain for instance) you will be responsible for making sure the fields are done on Friday. Make sure your volunteers are prepared for any changes in schedule. It is ultimately up to each team's coach to make sure that the fields are completed.
Micro Duty involves having your players come out on the following Saturday and help both the Micro and In-House rec teams with their drills. This year we have split the Micro Duty schedule to two, 2 hour shifts. Teams are to report to Sue Aubry at the snack stand the day/time they are schedule and she will coordinate your players activities accordingly. Please note that the In-House rec and Micro schedule may differ from your own travel schedule. Always check WWW.TWINCOUNTYSOCCER.ORG for the latest Micro/In-House rec schedule and for cancellations.
