Champion Student-Athlete Boot Camp

 

Emphasis is placed on developing the physical and mental traits of a Champion that will benefit student-athletes now and in the future; in sports and in life.

PHYSICAL
Student-athletes will receive tools and methods through training to improve quickness, agility, explosion, functional fitness, strength, endurance, balance, core strength, lateral movement, eye hand coordination, and flexibility;bottom line overall Strength, Athleticism, & Conditioning.

MENTAL
Participants will hear talks, receive hands on instruction, and be given opportunities to apply principles specifically designed to develop a Champion's Mindset. Graduates of the camp will be exposed to training in Champion Choices resulting in improved Leadership, Effort, Attitude, and Performance!

RESULTS
Focus is on Encouraging, Empowering, and Equipping student-athletes to be their best. through training designed to improve them as athletes, leaders, and impact players in life. Graduates of this camp can apply these skills and lessons daily; positively impacting all those around them as they strive for excellence in every endeavor.

Registration: (student-athletes should register for JH or HS based on grade going into; therefore, current 8th graders should register in HS group.  Current 5th graders going into 6th are eligible in JH group)

·         Early Registration by July 26; $40 for all 3 days!

·         Registrations received onsite or after July 26; $45.

·         Turn in early registrations along with fee to Coach Cook or Shipman.

Dates and Times:

·         July 30-Aug 1; 5:30 pm-8:30 pm.

·         Meet beginning each day in school cafeteria.

·         Each day will begin on time, arrive early.

Upon Completion:  

·         Awards ceremony for parents and athletes the following week with slide show.               

·         Athletes will earn T-Shirt and certificate of completion.               

·         A notebook of talks, principles, and training techniques.                    

·         Opportunity to earn L.E.A.P. award.
