2018 Fee Schedule

(all the information below is in draft form; final registration details will be provided soon)

To keep Little League affordable, we are maintaining the fees set in 2013:

  • Tee-Ball - $100
  • A, AA, AAA, Majors - $125
  • Juniors/Seniors - $200
  • Raffle Cards, Per Family - $30
  • Fundraiser Discount Cards, Per Family - $25
  • $25 Per Family Late Fee assessed after Feb. 8

Payments can be made by credit card, check or cash there is no fee for credit cards.

The BLL Board is very sensitive to how much we ask for each family to pay to play.  In reality, Registration fees cover just over 40% of the leagues operating costs.

To cover the balance, we ask every family to support our Fundraising efforts (see below) that cover another 25% of the operating budget, and require no door-to-door solicitation by your children.

Sponsors and Concession Stand revenue cover the remaining 35% of the budget, so please support our Sponsorsbusinesses with your patronage.  And visit the stands often!

Little League Age

In order to play in Brandywine Little League you must be of official league age -- between 4 and 16 years old -- as defined by Little League Headquarters.  New Players to the league MUST bring the player's original birth certificate when registering the child.

Division Descriptions

Tee-Ball

Ages 4-6

This is the opportunity for kids to learn the fundamentals of baseball and have a whole lot of fun.

Single "A" (coach pitch)

Ages 5-7
This division emphasizes instruction rather than competition. Players will build upon the fundamentals learned in T-Ball and expand their knowledge with a beginning course in pitching and catching techniques on a slightly smaller than regulation field. This division uses a continuous batting order, free substitutions, no standings and no playoffs. Coaches do all pitching. Players are randomly assigned to teams; however, if possible, an effort will be made to place players together if it will help parents with coaching duties and/or car-pooling.

Double "A"
(player pitch/coach pitch)

Ages 7-9
This division's emphasis is on instruction in order to prepare players for competitive levels ahead. This division uses a continuous batting order and free substitutions. Kids pitch, but coaches will pitch to the batter after 4 balls.  Requests for pairing players together generally cannot be accommodated.

Triple "A"
(player pitch)

Ages 8-10
This division emphasizes instruction in a competitive atmosphere. This division uses a continuous batting order and free substitutions. Standings are kept and end of season playoffs are held. Players are drafted onto these teams and requests for pairing players together cannot be accommodated.

Majors

Ages 9-12
This division emphasizes instruction in the finer points of the game in a very competitive atmosphere. This division uses continuous batting order and free substitutions. Standings are kept and end-of-season playoffs are held. Players are drafted onto these teams and requests for pairing players together cannot be accommodated
.  All-Stars at this level have the opportunity to advance to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.

Juniors

Ages 13-14

This division provides players with the opportunity to play on a major-league size field and to compete against teams from other leagues in a fun, competitive atmosphere. Standings are kept and end-of-season playoffs are held with the opportunity for All-Stars to play in the Junior League Baseball World Series. Players are drafted onto these teams and requests for pairing players together cannot be accommodated.  Higher fees at this level cover the cost of having paid umpires.

Seniors

Ages 15-16

This division provides players with the opportunity to play teams from other leagues in a fun, competitive atmosphere.  This division attracts players who just missed making their high school teams, along with those who made it but want to hone their skills and play competitive, yet more relaxed ball beyond the high school season.  Standings are kept and end-of-season playoffs are held with the opportunity for All-Stars to play in the Senior League Baseball World Series.  Players are drafted onto these teams and requests for pairing players together cannot be accommodated.  Higher fees at this level cover the cost of having paid umpires.
