Our journey with the Rochester Lady Lions started when our daughter was 12yrs old. She has been with the Lions for the past 7 years. We have met great families along the way. The reason Emily decided to play for the Lions was her desire to play softball in college. Rob has done a great job over the years helping girls get to the next level. He is always looking for tournaments that would challange the girls while getting them exposure to certain colleges. With both the college combines and college showcase's our daughter has received the exposure she needed to be currently playing college softball. Rob is always looking for someone or something that would help the girls perform a step above the rest. The clinics and camps that were offered to her are an example of those extra things. Our daughter especially enjoyed attending the Rob Crews Hitting Clinics. Rob would bring in Coach Crews several weekends during the off season to work with the girls in the organization. These are the kind of things that seperate the Lions from the other organizations. As our daughter begins her college career, we would like to thank Rob Kersch for running such a stand-up organization.

Thank You,

We are grateful to Rob and the Lady Lions for seeing something in Morgan, beyond her ability, and giving her the opportunity to be a part of the 18u showcase team. This was the opportunity she needed to get her over the top in the college recruiting process.

Morgan is our oldest and this our first time navigating these waters. Neither Carol or I played college sports so it was all new to us. Morgan had signed up for NCSA and it was going well, but the addition of Rob’s dedication to making sure the Morgan was talking to coaches and putting herself out there really made the difference.

From the start, Rob communicated regularly to let us know about schools with openings and asking about Morgan’s communications with coaches at her top schools. He made sure to know which schools she was specifically interested in.

Rob is committed (and by extension the Lady Lions) in making every effort and providing support & encouragement for the players to have the opportunity to play at the next Level.

Much of this happened before we even got on the field.

On the field, the coaching Morgan is receiving has been top notch. The fall tournaments were an opportunity to face great competition before winter. Morgan’s confidence grew when she saw herself competing successfully against talented college-bound athletes.

One thing that stands out is when Morgan was struggling at the plate in a tournament in Ohio last fall. She was hitting off a tee between games and Rob came over to coach her. He spent about a half hour with her, giving her tips, pointers, adjustments, and encouragement. It made all the difference in the world...not just physically but mentally too.

Finally, during the final communications between Morgan and the coach at Elizabethtown, Rob took the time to review the emails and confirm our understanding. When it was all said and done, he was genuinely as excited for Morgan as we were.

His expectations are high, but he is personally invested in coaching the girls as a team and individuals. His approach, and behind the scenes effort, give each of them the opportunity to be the best player they can be and prepares them for the future.

The training opportunities, the dedication of the coaches and the competitive summer travel ball all make the Rochester Lady Lions a premier softball program. At the 16U and 18U levels, our daughter was exposed to highly competitive tournaments and many college coaches. Without the Lions, she would not be playing softball in college. We are so grateful to the Lions program and all it offered. We only wish we had found the Lions sooner!

In the short amount of time we have been with the organization I have been very impressed with the detailed instruction at the practices. Rob is very passionate about helping these young ladies reach their dreams of playing softball in college.  Attending hitting clinics with Rob Crews and Nelson Santos, hosting their own Lady Lions College Combine, and the opportunity to play in college showcases in front of many college coaches - These girls get noticed. If you are dedicated to working hard, the Lady Lions will get you where you want to go.

Travel softball in the Rochester area is an experience all unto itself. It can at times, be hard to find a travel softball team/coach that plays hard, teaches core values, and instructs player development. It has been both mine and my daughters experience, that the Rochester Lady Lions teaches all of those things. We both have valued the coach and the parents on this team.

It has been an incredible journey both on and off the softball field. Those memories, she will take, not only into her college softball experience, but her life experience as well. Nicely Done.

The Rochester Lady Lions organization began preparing our daughter at age 9 for youth ball, Varsity play as an 8th grader, and now off to DIII college level. The discipline, commitment, social, and leadership skills she has learned there cannot be understated. There is not another softball organization in the Rochester area like the Rochester Lady Lions. The offseason training combined with the high-level tournaments and showcases the teams attend prepared our daughter for DIII college level play. Thank you, Rob and all the Lions staff!

Rochester Lady Lions are a top class organization offering teams for all age levels. They offer a private combine that is built for young ladies that have an interest in playing in college. This offering is a one day opportunity for multiple college coaches to see them and focus on just watching their skills and not at a game with a lot of distractions. My daughter was noticed there by multiple colleges and that lead to her getting eight colleges that she was able to choose from to further her education and love for the game of softball. They are also one of a few of organizations in the area that have a team that they can play with after their high school days are over to stay in playing shape for college during the summer.

I totally recommend the lady lions league for anyone who has a daughter that is competitive in softball and would like to give her a competitive edge and improve her skills.

The league is fun, competitive, and offers many opportunities to grow. They have coaches for the season and also coaches at professional levels to offer advice and personal one on one training. Colleges are also aware of lady lions professional level due to the number of college scouts at the lady lion showcases and interactions.

We enjoyed our years with lady lions and feel the experience enabled Elizabeth to play for MCC.

Thank you Lady Lions!

A well run, elite organization with a full focus on the athletes and their success, both on and off the field. With a reputation for experience and excellence that precedes itself, the organization offers structured practices, competitive tournaments, and coaches who truly know the game and how to teach it. Athletes will have fun, be challenged, make lifelong friends, and inevitably come out better, stronger, and more resilient.

Great organization, great coaches, great players, great families! Elite program for all age groups. A not for profit league that truly has the best interest of the players! They bring years of knowledge to our players and the big name coaches too! Thankful to have had our daughter a part of this organization for the past five years.

The Rochester Lady Lions is a great organization. It has been a great privilege to watch the time, effort, and commitment from not only the players but coaches as well. For Renée, it has been a great experience and has given her the opportunity to play the game she loves at a high level. We would definitely recommend playing for them if given the opportunity. It's a once in a lifetime chance.

The dedication of the Rochester Lady Lions organization and the coaching staff is what kept Brooke looking forward to coming back every year.  Brooke started travel softball at 14U with little experience.  Coach Rob recognized Brooke’s athleticism and helped her develop it throughout the next five years.  The Rochester Lady Lions organization understands the importance of playing against top-level competition and playing in the tournaments that only allow the best teams.  Through hard work, great coaching and tournaments that challenged her abilities Brooke grew as an athlete and a young woman.  Brooke is now ready to face the challenges of playing softball at Fairmont State University.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with the Rochester Lady Lions! The organization was great at putting several opportunities out there for my daughter to take advantage of, whether it was for improving skills or getting college coaches in to observe the players.

Lady Lions 18U Showcase Team has been very
beneficial for Adriana. Coach Kersch was very eager to get her on his team as
one of his pitchers. The players and parents welcomed us with open arms and
made us feel like we had been with this team since the beginning. We really
love the dedication that Coach Kersch shows for his team and the love of
Softball. Coach Kersch gets these girls in College Showcase Tournaments at
a high level of competition to show their skills and talents and gets them seen
by many, many colleges from different states. The communication from Coach
Kersch was great! He always would let us know if there was a college interested
in Adriana. He has a lot of great connections such as getting the team
hitting lessons with Rob Crews & Nelson Santos. Hosting their own Lady
Lions College Combine was a great way to get all these girls in front of many
College coaches.  We are very impressed with the detailed instruction
& structured practices. No one is ever sitting. Everyone is moving &
learning. We believe Coach Kersch really helped Adriana get noticed &
reach her goal of being recruited. Rochester Lady Lions is a very well run
elite Organization that gets these girls to the highest level of
softball.

This has been a great opportunity for Adriana
& for us as parents to be a part of Lady Lions 18U Showcase. It has been a
great experience on & off the field & she will take this throughout her
college softball years & beyond. Thank you to all the coaches and
parents who dedicated their time and effort to make these girls not only to
believe in themselves and have confidence but to play to the best of their
ability.

My daughter Sam joined the Rochester Lady Lions as a nine-year-old with dreams of playing college
softball. Thanks to you and your organization her dreams have become a reality. The Lady Lions provided
excellent coaching which allowed her to develop her natural talents and abilities into a softball athlete.
Your organization also provided the exposure necessary to be recruited by several schools. She decided
on Penn State Behrend, where this spring she will be a freshman and a starter for the softball team. She
is truly living out her dream.
