Work Bond Policy

Our organization is only as good as its volunteers.  Game Day is one example where we need the most help.  We need the help from our parents to continue with the success of our program so THANK YOU in advance!!

The workbond fee will be $150 per family for the season (paid during registration).  There will be many ways in which parents can volunteer their time to recover their work bond deposit.  We are hoping that everyone will assist with their time and few will forfeit their bond.

Every family will be required to work a minimum of 9 hours service to the Old Bridge SWS Rebels Youth Football & Cheer Association with a minimum of 3 hours working in direct support on a Home Game Day.  This is a mandated requirement in order for you to recover your Work Bond fee at the end of the season.  Again, we need the most help on game days.

There are 3 team specific functions that qualify for work bond hours:

• Head Coach - meets full 9 hour requirement
• Assistant Coach – meets 5 hour requirement (4 hours of field duty or extra gameday help required, sideline marker and chains will not count) 
• Team Mom/Dad (max 1 per team) – meets full 9 hour requirement
• Team Video

Volunteering to assist your team in other ways is highly encouraged and commendable and will help your head coach and your team.

It is the volunteer’s responsibility to properly document the hours for meeting your Work Bond requirement.  Make sure that you sign our Work Bond 2017 book located in concession or email kim4tunes@gmail.com for any additional hours not logged in the book or on the SignUp.com website. You should also contact kim4tunes@gmail.com with any last minute cancellations.

Once the entire season is completed, each family that has fulfilled its volunteer obligation will have their Work Bond refunded.
