Individual Player Registration for Recreation/Closed Divisions

   Individual player registration fee structure for the 2013 Season

There has been no registration fee increase for over five years prior to the 2011 season and the BSB board has decided to implement the following fee structure in an effort to keep up with the demands for continued field improvements, maintenance, equipment, insurance, officiating and utilities.
We have revived the raffle ticket sales in the 2013 season, as a league fundraiser, (which we have not used in the past 2 years), with the need to fullfill the financial demands of running a youth organization that has a number of  projects needed to maintain an aging baseball complex. We do have plans for other types of league/team fundraisers, the current revised registration fee and raffle ticket fundraiser, will be a base for our league revenue generation source.

Individual Player Registration 2013 (Spring Season Only)

All divisions  are now open for registration.
If there questions regarding your age division, please contact the
division rep for those divisions.
 

The 5U,6U, 8U, 11U &12U rec divisions are now closed. There will be a waiting list only for those divisions that have been closed.
All divisions are near capacity and will accept new player registrations until  that division is full. There will be a waiting list established for those divisions after a division is full. We advise you to contact the respective division rep for information on questions regarding division capacity status and any question regarding that age division including a drafted player that may not have been contacted by the team manager for player team assignment after the Draft date listed.

The following player contract form can be filled out and brought to one of the player registration dates listed below. This contract is similar to the school handout form passed out in the Blue Springs School disctrict, Janurary 2013.  
 
 
 
 
 

There is an additional $10 late sign-up fee in addition to the registration fee after the March 9th, Draft Day completion.

7U Machine Pitch, 8U Machine Pitch, 9U and 10U: ........................$135.00  (incl $30 raffle ticket)
11U, 12U, 13U and 14U: .............................................................. $145.00  (incl $30 raffle ticket)

 

These prices reflect the registration fees for our convenient online registration and our sign-ups at the following locations, dates and time. Remember online registration for those that prefer the convenience of registration on-line, or those who are unable to make it to the sign-up times, this can be found to the left in the menu selection, 'Online Registration'.

 Age Division times for  Skills Test and Draft Daft Day

This is for Participation/Rec individual players that have not been frozen on a recreation team this year.

This will be held at Blue Springs High School 

Draft for 6U and7U Divisions will begin at TBA, all Team managers must be present at that time.
 5U Division will commence after the 6 & 7U Draft has been completed.
 
 

5U MTB & 6U TB/Coach Pitch FAQ's

   There have been a number of questions we have been asked in the past few weeks with new player registration in the 5U Midget T-Ball and 6U T-Ball/Coach Pitch Divisions. I will attempt to answer the most frequently asked questions that have been asked:

   1) When are teams formed? March 10th is draft day and that is when teams are picked by a hat draw for both divisions. 

   2) Where are practice and games held? All practices and games will be at James Walker Park for 5U Midget T-Ball Division and Old Mill Park for 6U T-Ball/Coach Pitch.

   3) How many games will be played and when? Both divisions will play 10 scheduled League Games and they will start first week in May and end by the end of June. 

   4) When are practices? Team managers will have access to the fields for one weeknight practice and one weekend practice until League games begin on May 5th. After that times for practices may be adjusted by team managers.
 
   5) When are League games? The majority of League Games will be on Saturday morning/afternoon but we will schedule some weeknight games throughout the Season starting at 6PM. 
   6) How long are the games? Game duration for 5U Midget T-Ball is 3 innings with each team, (visitor and home), getting their entire line-up to bat regardless of outs or runs. 6U T-Ball/Coach Pitch, will play 7 innings or 1 hour 15minutes.

Discounted Registration Fees, payable at General Membership Meetings:

10U thru 12U.................$1350
13U thru 14U.................$1450
15U thru 17U.................$1550

Teams wishing to register for the Blue Springs Baseball competitive divisions for ages 10U through 14U need to contact the Division Representative for your age group, see Board of Directors page, and attend the next General Membership meeting. Check the Calendar page for exact date and time.


To register the Competitive Team Registration Form must be completed then bring a copy of each players Birth Certificate along with the fees to the next General Membership Meeting. Click on the link above to print the form. The Division Rep and a Board Member for your age group will verify each players age at which time your registration will be accepted.

Fees and rosters must be turned in no later than March 7, 2013 (Except 15/16/17 Division but you must contact the 15/16/17 Division Rep.). Returning teams from last season will have first choice for a spot in your age division. New teams will be accepted on a first come basis with your paid fees guaranteeing a spot. Divisions are filling up fast so contact the Division Rep for your age group.
 
On-Line Registration is available at the Online Registration page which may be accessed from the Main Menu.  A league processing fee has been dropped so either the Online Registration or in- person payment of team registration charges will be the same amount.
