CHAPEL GROVE WINS NATIONAL DIRECTORS AWARD FROM DIXIE YOUTH
February 12, 2005 - 04:00 PM --   On Feburary 12, 2005 at the Dixie Youth District workshop Dixies Vice President Kenneth Britt awarded Chapel Grove with the National Directors Award, For service to the youth in the community. Tony Green, Chapel Groves baseball director accepted the award. This award was given to the club for its outstanding efforts and volunteer help! Mr. Britt was at the 11-12 year old District tournament that Chapel Grove hosted in 2003. Mr. Britt along with the State Director( Carey Wren), National Directors(David Jackson) and ( Buddy Burney) were also in attendance. They were very pleased with all the volunteer help for a small organization that continues grow. This tournament, along with attendance to all other district tournaments, has shown Dixie that Chapel Grove is working hard to better its program and to draw in more youth in the community. Thus giving the youth an outlet for after school hours and keeping them active in the community.
