DIXON 6 - SANTA ROSA 0
Dixon Jr. Pee Wee started the 2009 season with a very tough game against Santa Rosa Stallions. It was a tough 6-0 win for Jr. Pee Wees. Coach Holtemann state, “it doesn’t get any easier with Petaluma away and Windsor at home”. The kids battled up and down the field, finally Max Gorham scored in the last minute and a half. Offensively it was a rough start for Dixon Jr. Pee Wees; Santa Rosa was very physical and had good speed on the corners which made it tough for Dixon to get their outside running game going with Cameron Garlick and Bryce Nakamura. Ben Nefger, QB led Dixon offense all day long as they battle up and down the field. Max Gorman’s tough inside running proved to be the difference as time ran down. The offensive line of, Samual Palchik, Dylan Wentz, Jacob Arnold, Cameron Bibby, Justin Curry and Matt Howitzen battled all day long. The game got more intense after a miscue in the kicking game allowing Santa Rosa with good field position. Coach Holtemann replied, “The kicker just missed the ball, you don’t see that happen that often”. The Dixon defensive played well all day and rose to the occasion stopping Santa Rosa short of the 20 yard line with key plays by Jeremy Cristobal and Marcus Scott. Max Gorman, Alex Cole, George Raymond, George Fountain, Joey Baker, Cameron Garlick, Bryce Nakamura, Andy Woltjen, Cameron Bibby and Joseph Jurardo led the Dixon defense against a very powerful Santa Rosa football team. Jr. Pee Wees also recovered two fumbles one by Bibby and Fountan. The team has a lot of work to do before the next game against Petaluma .

DIXON 32 - PETALUMA 0
The Dixon JPW's defeated the Petaluma Panthers 32-0. Offensively, Dixon got off to a fast start Cameron Garlick scoring on a 60 yard touchdown. Garlick also scored again at the end of the second half as time was running out. Bryce Nakamura also scored two touchdowns against Petaluma. A 50 yard touchdown and another one of 20 or more yards. Marcus Scott also scored on a 10 yard run. Offensive line of Jacob Arnold, Alex Cole, Dylan Wentz, Cameron Bibby, Matt Howitson, Justin Curry and Jesse Camarillo did a nice job upfront for Dixon. Max Gorham also ran hard. Ben Nefger led the offense all day long. On the defensive side Dixon stood strong all day long, never threatened by Petaluma. "It was another great job," said coach Holtemann. Dixon's defense moves fast and hits hard and they are only going to get better. They are George Fountain, George Raymond, Joey Baker, Marcus Scott, Bryce Nakamura, Cameron Garlick, Cameron Bibby, Alex Cole, Max Gorham, Joey Jurardo and Austin Coyle.

DIXON 6 - WINDSOR 0
Dixon Jr. Pee Wees beat Windsor Knights 6-0 to improve their record to 3-0. Strong defense again was Dixon ’s weapon. Max Gorham scored a touchdown in the second quarter to put Dixon up 6-0. The Dixon JPW put themselves in a hole the last couple of minutes of the game. Coach Holtemann said, “We tried to take a safety but it didn’t go right.” The kids didn’t panic and as Windsor got the ball inside Dixon ’s 10 yard line. The defense of George Raymond, Cameron Garlick, George Fountain, Cameron Bibby, Joey Baker, Max Gorham, Alex Cole, KC Holtemann, Marcus Scott and Bryce Nakamura came up big and stopped the Knights from scoring to secure the game. Offensively the kids moved the ball up and back the field but penalties hurt Dixon . The offensive line played well at times but JPW’s still have work to do. Ben Nefger again did a good job at quarterback and Cameron Garlic, Bryce Nakamura, Marcus Scott and Max Gorham ran hard all day.

DIXON 31 - ROHNERT PARK 0
Dixon JPW’s came out strong again and defeated Rohnert Park Warriors 31-0. Bryce Nakamura started off with the first of his three touchdowns on a 10 yard run. The second touchdown was a 5 yard run set up by KC Holtemann’s 55 yard run. Then Ben Nefger completed a nice 20 yard throw and catch to Nakamura.
The longest touchdown of the day was an 85 yard run by KC Holtemann. Marcus Scott then added a 30 yard run touchdown to put the game into scrimmage. The offensive line blocked well all day they are Justin Curry, Cameron Bibby, Joey Baker, Alex Cole, Xavier Wabaunsee, Dylan Wentz and Jesse Camarillo. On the defensive side the Ronhert JPW’s did not pose a threat to Dixon. Coach Holtemann said, “Our defense has played hard and fast all year long we have not given up a touchdown in our first four games, that’s pretty good.” The defensive unit of Max Gorham, George Raymond, George Fountain, Austin Coyle, Joey Jurardo, Jeremy Cristobal, Bibby, Nakamura, Scott, Holtemann, Baker and Cole. Other standouts were Devon Haywood, Devonte Haywood, Matt Hendrix, Andrew Minai, Andy Woltjen, Samual Palchick and Matt Howitson. The kids are performing well and getting better every week and looking forward to their next challenge that will be on the road for the next four weeks.

DIXON 33 - CENTRAL CITY 0
The Dixon JPWs beat the Central City Phantoms 33-0. The game was put into scrimmage at the end of the first half. The game started off with Marcus Scott taking the opening kickoff back for a 70 yard touchdown. Bryce Nakamura had a 40 yard touchdown run, followed by Ben Nefger’s pass to KC Holtemann for a 55 yard touchdown. Then Max Gorham scored a 10 yard touchdown. All this could not happen without the outstanding blocking of Dixon’s offensive line, they are Jesse Camarillo, Sam Palchick, Cameron Bibby, Jake Arnold, Alex Cole Dylan Wentz, Justin Curry, Matt Howitson, Jacob Robinson, Xavier Wabaunsee and Andy Woltjen. Adding extra points for the Dixon JPWs were Matt Hendrix, Nakamura and Nefger. Dixon defense again did not give up any touchdowns for the fifth game in a row. In addition, Dixon defensive tackle Austin Coyle stripped a Central City Phantom’s runner of the football and returned it for a 30 yard touchdown. George Raymond and KC Holtemann also had interceptions for the Dixon’s defense. Defensively, the kids are flying around and having fun, they are George Raymond, Cameron Bibby, Joey Baker, Austin Coyle, Bryce Nakamura, Marcus Scott, Joey Jurardo, KC Holtemann, the Haywood brothers, Jeremy Cristobal, Andrew Manai and Matt Hendrix. Dixon JPWs travel to Ukiah, the battle of the undefeated JPW’s.
