East Islip Angels
We are a 13u travel baseball team based out of East Islip, New York. Most of our players have their baseball foundations in the Little League of the Islips and also play on the Islip and East Islip Middle School Teams, as well as St. Mary's Parochial School.
We train on a year-round basis and emphasize positive reinforcement.
Many of our team members have been together since they were 9 years old. The team was started by Joe Ferme in an effort to enable competition at a higher level than what could be found in the local little league. In our first season we joined the FABL. The following year we started competing at Baseball Heaven Tournaments in Yaphank, NY.
We currently only play in tournaments. For next year we may enter a league. Our ultimate goal is to be able to compete in regional and national tournaments and become nationally ranked. We are investigating FABL, NJBL, AAU, Baseball Heaven. Any site visitors with information on these leagues please feel free to send us an email.
