Alumni
As of Fall 2007 the Fort Worth Cats currently have 54 players still participating in collegiate baseball. We also currently have 12 players in the professional ranks, one of which is on an active Major League roster; LHP Randy Keisler [Oakland A's].
The Fort Worth Cats also have a number of former players still working within and around the game of baseball. Johnny Isom (Crowley HS) is an assistant coach at Denton Liberty HS, and Chris Anderson (Duncanville HS) is an assistant coach at Duncanville HS.
At the college level, Flint Wallace (Weatherford HS) is the Director of Baseball Operations at TCU, Johnny Johnson (Arlington Lamar HS) is an assistant coach at UT Pan American, Shawn Hughes (Arlington Sam Houston) is an assistant coach at Cisco JC, Arnie Chavera (Arlington Sam Houston) is the head coach at Black Hawk JC in Iowa, and Scott Harp (Duncanville HS) is the head coach at North Central JC.
At the professional level, Mark Lummus is currently a scout in the Seattle Mariners organization and Reid Ryan is currently President and CEO of the Houston Astros AA club, the Round Rock Express.
