    Ryan Bedwell #9- Outfielder 2004-2006
Ryan Bedwell was an original member of teh Decatur Dragons/Geneva Cardinals franchise. Ryan played his high school baseball at Adams Central high School and his college baseball at Indiana Tech.

Ryan currently holds the single season stolen base record for the franchise and is among the leaders in run's and hits as well. Ryan's fleet feet made the diffence in many of the games the franchise played in the Fort Wayne Baseball Federation and his commitment to playing the game properly led to his being named the one of the first captains for the franchise along with hall of famer Alex Childers.

Ryan graduated in 2007 with his accounting degree from Indiana Tech and is currently residing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania working for the Lincoln Life company.

    Alex "A-Rod" Childers #3- Middle Infielder 2004-2006
Alex Childers was another member of the original Decatur Dragons/Geneva Cardinals franchise in 2004. He played his high school baseball at New Haven High School and his college ball at Olivet Nazarene as well as Goshen College.

Alex started off his time with the franchise as a steady, but small second baseman for the Dragons. Often, using his baseball intellect and his sheer desire to play to overcome the odds against his physical attributes. In his later seasons, as he physically got stronger, his leadership helped right the franchise as he co-captained the team to it's first winning season in 2006.

Currently, Alex has graduated from Olivet Nazarene with his business administration degree in 2007. He is currently in the job market and living in Huntertown, Indiana.

Travis "Ruby" Foster #11- Catcher 2004-2006
Travis Foster played with the franchise from it's inception in 2004. Travis was another local hero having played his high school ball at Adams Central High School and college at Tri-State University.

Travis started off on the team as one of three catchers in the 2004 season. He finished the season by nearly calling an upset win against the La Margarita Blues in the Fort Wayne Baseball Federation Championship, handling nearly the enitre pitching staff for the final game. Travis will also be forever etched in Cardinal history as having tied the very first game of the Cardinals at Geneva with a double off the left field wall to score Landon Story against the South Bend Senators. Travis was a warrior who would often catch both ends of a double header to enable the franchise to play the games during the lean year of 2005.

Travis has graduated from Tri-state University with his criminal justice degree and has interned with the United States Marshall Service. Currently, he lives in Adams County, but that should be changing by 2008.

    Bryan Reid #12- Pitcher 2004-2006
Bryan Reid helped anchor the pitching staff of the franchise for the first three years of it's existence. Bryan played his high school ball at Yorktown High School and his collegiate experience took him to Saint Francis University, Ancilla College and finally, Tri-State University.

Bryan started every opening day game of the franchise for the first three years of the teams existence. He started off the trend of never losing an opening game, beating the Springfield Bulldogs, the Great Lakes Captains and turning the ball over to Robert Carrol to secure the victory against the South Bend Senators. Bryan's fiery temper and dedication to the franchise led him to wins in many of the games he started and has placed him amongst the top of the heap on the record board for wins in the franchise history.

Bryan graduated from Tri-state university and currently resides in Rensalear, Indiana where he is in managment of a shipping company.

    Jim Anderson, team sponsor 2004-2006
Jim Anderson came to the team when his son, centerfielder Chris Anderson joined the Decatur Dragons in 2004. Jim helped sponsor the team throughout it's existence and was a fixture at games for the Cardinals/Dragons franchise.

Tragically, Jim passed away in 2007 leaving behind a wife, Donna, and four sons.

Jim was induct posthumously into the Geneva Cardinals hall of fame for his dedication to the franchise.
