Mar 25. Gold - GRIZZLIES 3 vs. TWISTERS 2 - FINAL(Overtime Win)
(Time of OT goal: 5:35 in a 6 min OT)
Atom Playoff Format
The Atom House League Division will conduct an Olympic Style Tournament format with all teams competing for Gold, Silver and Bronze level championships. Champions will be determined on our final night of play, Saturday March 25, Pine Point Arena. The advantage of this tournament style is that all teams are in the hunt for a championship, down to the final night of play.
Each team will end the season as either a Gold/Silver/Bronze Champion or a Finalist.
Tie Breaker Rules: The final standings within the Pools after the five game tournament will be decided (in the event of ties) by the following criteria:
1) Result of Head to Head play in tournament.
2) Goal differential (Goals for vs. goals against over the three games).
3) Least goals against.
4) Least penalty minutes.
5) Position in regular season standings.
Overtime: Will be played after each playoff game in the event of a tied score with 5 on 5, 6 minutes, two 3-minute shifts, sudden victory, run time. If the game remains tied at the conclusion of the one Overtime, each team will be awarded one point. In the final championship games, the Overtime will continue until a winner is declared.
