WESTCHESTER PACKERS TO VISIT BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CENTER AT WESTCHESTER MEDICAL CENTER
EVENT TIME: SATURDAY, MAY 30, AT 10:30AM
Members of the Press are welcome to join the Westchester Packers Minor League Football Team as they team up with the staff of the Behavioral Health Center (BHC) at the Westchester Medical Center to assist the young patients for a day. Packers will conduct a football clinic for the young patients where they will teach help sportsmanship, conditioning techniques and basic football fundamentals. This is another great opportunity for the children to interact with positive role models from the community, which should enhance their development. This is a return visit for the Packers who created many fond memories for the patients last year with a similar event.
The Behavioral Health Center at Westchester Medical Center is one of the premier children and adolescents’ facilities in the tri-state area with a long-standing tradition of providing care and service to the community. The Packers are proud to be joining the staff in their important mission of assisting at-risk emotional youth.
