The objective of Wylie Youth Football League is: to inspire youth, regardless of race, color, creed, or national origin; to practice the ideals of health, citizenship and character; to bring our youth closer together through the means of common interest in sportsmanship and fair play; to impart to the game elements of safety, sanity, and intelligent supervision; and to keep the welfare of the player first, foremost and entirely free of adult lust for glory.
Specific Purpose of the Wylie Youth Football League:
· Provide youth with organized competition in a safe environment
· Bring our youth closer together through common interest while coaching sportsmanship, discipline and love of the game
· Educate the players with the fundamentals of the game
· Instill the values of education and encourage the players to excel in school and to emphasize the importance keeping a proper relationship and balance between scholastic and athletic endeavors
